Today is the 4th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster, isn't it...?

So, I thought I shouldn't forget, and I posted a short message.

When that first happened, I woke up in the morning and was looking at the TV as if nothing had happened.

I thought it wouldn't be a big deal.

That day was less than 30 minutes after my sister had left for her school trip, so she might not have paid much attention.

And when I watched TV after rolling around for a while, my eyes widened.

The number of deaths written in large letters.

The number of missing persons. The sight of people shouting for help on the ship was not seen.

The boat was almost overturned.

Looking back now, what I regret even more is that I saw the overturned boat.

My indifferent self, feeling nothing particular.

I only just realized how stupid I was.

Something that was thought to be really insignificant ends up becoming a painful memory for many people.

Yellow ribbons are fluttering everywhere, and dozens of white chrysanthemums are piled up.

Candlelight is shining brightly across the nation, and the tears shed over that event have already formed an ocean.

If only we had saved them a little sooner, if only we had known about the situation a little sooner, the ribbons might not have been fluttering.
