Other than some occasional chatter about how delicious the food was, everyone ate in silence.

They were all observing y/n and chan's behaviour, and they all noticed that y/n kept staring worriedly at chan's hand

At the same time, han noticed that you were less enthusiastic about this ride

You guys got into the seats and sat down you could feel your heart pounding

You badly wanted to get out of the ride but it was too late

As the ride started you clung onto han's arm with a panicked mind

You guys were thrown into darkness and your eyes adjusted to the dark

All you saw was blood

Blood everywhere

Before you knew it, tears were streaming down your face and those horrible memories came back

It flashed before your eyes

[flashback]

At that time, Diana wasn't born yet

I was only about 6 or 7 years old

Mum

Y/n~ mummy and daddy will be going onto a business trip and we will be sending you to uncle Simon's house, okay?

Uncle Simon was single and he had a part time job

He was a very fun and loving person; one who could interact with children easily

But it came to you that you have never spent a night at his house before

Mummy, can I come with you guys, please 🥺

I don't want to go there

Please y/n, it will only be a few nights... Besides I'm sure uncle Simon would love to have you over

And with that, the day came and you were sent to his house to stay over

He stayed in an apartment and it was surpisingly warm and cosy

He interacted with you well, gave you the best foods you could ever imagine, and kept you entertained when you were bored

Until 3 days later,

He had some friends over and he just picked you up and threw you into a dark and dim room

You were confused. Uncle Simon wasn't ever like that

Since that day, you had been living in that room, with uncle Simon throwing food at you every once in a while

And he always kept the door locked

He started bringing different woman into the room, and you always watched them suffer

He would beat them up, throwing glass bottles everywhere

And all you would see, is blood

You once tried to stop him before but he merely just flung you aside

Leaving your wounds bleeding heavily and your sobs echoing throughout the room

Every night, you would cry yourself to sleep, and having the most terrifying nightmares that no one could imagine

You never saw light until one day

Some people, dressed like police officers kicked the door open

They found you huddled in a corner weeping to yourself, wounds and blood covering you

One of them picked you up and went outside, where there was an ambulance

It was the first time in days that you saw the sunlight

They brought you to the hospital where your parents were anxiously waiting

Your mother was in tears, regretting the decisions she made

And from that day onwards she never trusted you with another person ever again

[present]

Unknowingly, you had wrapped your arms around han's waist as you squeezed your eyes shut, tears damping his shirt

If you opened your eyes, you saw many horrifying scenes of blood and screams

You couldn't take it anymore

HAN'S POV

I was enjoying the ride when I realised there wasn't any sound coming from y/n

I looked down and realised that y/n was crying, with her arms wrapped around my waist for comfort

Han

'Was the ride that scary', I thought

I placed my arm around her and stroked her hair

She was shaking so badly

Han

Y/n, are you okay?

I whispered

She did not respond

Instead, she hugged me even tighter

Then she said something so soft I almost couldn't hear her

Please... Please let me hold onto you for a while

Han

It's okay... Take your time... I'm here, okay?

I noticed her eyes was closed and tears were escaping from the corners of her eyes

Fortunately, it wasn't a very fast paced ride

Y/n was holding onto me like it was the only thing in the world

I knew she had experienced something that was difficult to get over

Y/n's pov

Finally you could feel the ride slowing to a stop and the lights seeping into your eyes

You released your tight grip on han and sat up rubbing away the tears in your eyes

Han's pov

There was pain in my heart when I saw y/n cry it was a different kind of pain

This pain makes me want to protect her from everything that hurt her

Y/n was wiping her tears away from her eyes when we emerged from the dark

When she noticed the damp spot she had created on my shirt, she gasped

Ahh omg I'm so sorry i-

Han

It's okay. Are you feeling better?

Y-yeah

Y/n pov

I was very embarrassed to have han witnessing the distressed side of me

I rarely show people the weak side of me. I was always the happy and bubbly y/n that everyone saw me as

However, mostly all of then did not know that I experienced a very dark past

Han took my hand and led me out of the haunted house

I was surprised that he did not question my sudden breakdown on the ride just now

He walked past the boys, ignoring the curiosity written all over their faces

Finally he stopped and enveloped me into a hug

Han

I hope you're feeling better. If you feel like telling me anything, I'm always here for you, okay??

You nodded as tears formed in your eyes
