Namjoon could just leave the girl and continue with his life, what was stopping him then?

He was still processing the accident, part of him felt guilty and wanted to compense somehow what he did.

Narrator

And before he knew, he was walking back with the nurse.

Nurse

What is your relation with the patient?

Namjoon

We have mutual friends, I don’t remember her name because I saw her a long time ago…

Narrator

He lied. It was the best way to check up on her.

Narrator

The nurse just nodded and told him to wait for a while.

-upcoming call from mom-

Namjoon’s mom

Namu, it’s 10 pm, why aren’t you here?

Namjoon

I had to do something quickly but time passed by-

Namjoon’s mom

I don’t want you to make any excuse, I’m going for you wherever you are…

Namjoon

Don’t do that, please. I’ll be home in a while

Namjoon’s mom

Okay, but take care and don’t you dare to do anything stupid for god’s sake

Namjoon

Mom, do you remember who you’re talking to?

Narrator

Namjoon laughs.

Namjoon’s mom

I know you are a good boy and everything, but you are also clumsy

Narrator

She had a point, but that wouldn’t change his mind right now. The call finishes as the nurse come back with a soft smile.

Nurse

You can see her now. She’s in the room 517

Narrator

He sighed with relief. Maybe the girl was fine and this was just a small rock on the road.
