Here's the cast so far:
Jo Serim / Onda of Everglow as Angel Shin (Shin Hyun-ae)
Rank: Class B
She's the main character and narrator, a Music student who loves dancing. She joined The Gauntlet to become an idol.
She is criticized for her tanned skin, and she resorts to taking medicine to make herself look better.
This makes her new friend LD worried. Just as Angel looks out for his emotional growth, LD also looks out for Angel's mental well-being.
Park Jihoon as Lawrens "LD" Dumandan
Rank: Class F->B
Angel's new friend, a shy Fine Arts student. He is unsure of himself, but Angel helps him as they grow fond of each other and become close.
Kim Nayoung of LIGHTSUM as Nikita Alvarez
Rank: Class B->A
A young trainee from Miriam High School. Due to their similarities, she strives to be closer to LD since she didn't have much friends.
Lee Jaehyun / Hyunjae of The Boyz as Clarens "CD" Dumandan
Rank: Class F->A
LD's twin brother, who is older than him by a minute. He was randomly picked by Mike Guillermo to audition, and is in the same boat as LD.
Kim Nayoung of LIGHTSUM as Mira Alvarez
Rank: Class A
A young but talented high school student. She is Nikita's younger twin. She is considered as the top trainee by everyone.
She is also close to CD, which explains Nikita's desire to be close to LD.
Bae Ju Hyun / Irene and Elina Cho (Cho Yeon Ju)
Rank: Class F->B
A 19-year old kindergarten teacher from Seoul. She was sent to the Gauntlet by her grandfather to punish her for dating a delinquent.
She also serves as a mother figure to the younger trainees.
Lee Yuna of Brave Girls as Ivy Cho (Cho Yeon-ae)
Rank: Class F->B
Elina's younger but taller twin sister. Unlike Elina, Ivy had been training to become an idol for two years prior to the Gauntlet.
Brash, foul-mouthed, and straightforward, Ivy is very outgoing and also unmindful of the boys seeing her in her underwear.
Park Chanyeol of EXO as Randall Chandler "Randy" Coleta

A college drop-out who ended up in the Gauntlet after he was scouted while selling street food like cheese sticks and buttered corn.
Jackson Wang as Kai Satake

A Japanese delinquent from Tokyo. He is Elina's boyfriend, and he was sent with her to the Philippines to participate in the contest.
Ong Seongwu as Paul Ferdinand "Paulie" Maia

A young heir to a theatre company. After bungling on a stage play, he is sent to the Gauntlet as a disciplinary act to learn responsibility.

A student from Angelicum College. She joined the Gauntlet so she can follow her dream to become a singer.
Randy also has a crush on her, according to LD, CD, Kai, and Ivy.
Son Seungwan / Wendy as Brianna Marin "Brains" Chavez

An individual trainee from a rich clan. Brains' nickname came from her habit of mimicking the zombies' catchphrase in Plants vs Zombies.
Despite the silliness of her nickname, she is also smart and cunning, and adept in using a sword.
Kim Sejeong as Maki Honju

A trainee from Yokohama, Japan. Despite her pretty looks, Maki started horribly and was not noticed until she was promoted to class A.
