ENHYPEN

ENHYPEN is a 7-member group consisting of members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki from the Survival Show - I-LAND under BE:LIFT Lab, a media company jointly established by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment. The 6 members of the group were chosen by the majority of fan's votes and one was picked by the producers.

The group name ENHYPEN means, "just like hyphen connects different words to create new meaning, the members of ENHYPEN will connect, discover each other, and grow together". Bang Si-Hyuk, the CEO of BigHit Entertainment, said that not only does "ENHYPEN" suit the group's journey, it also represents the path they'll pave going forward.

On October 9, 2020, ENHYPEN announced their fandom name, ENGENE. The name was chosen from fan suggestions, and it has two meanings: (1) ENHYPEN's fans are the "engines" that allow them to grow and move forward, and (2) ENHYPEN and their fans "share the same DNA to connect, develop, and grow together."
