You do as he says, carefully checking on the beef Wellington you two are making.
"Alright, I think it's ready, I'll reheat the sauce, you put it in the oven."
He saw this new recipe online and wanted to try it but failed the first time, so he asked for your help, hoping to succeed. Or, at least, to not burn everything again. 

"Uh, I'm exhausted. Should we make something for the cats?" you ask. There are so many good dishes for humans and Soonie, Doongie and Dori are probably tired of the basic catfood.
"Sure, but I don't really know what to do." 
"Then let's do something quick and simple, we don't have much time, either. We'll need some chicken left from lunch, tuna and carrots." 
After you prepare di ingredients, he puts them in the mixer until they blend perfectly. Then, you scoop them in the cats' bowls.
"And... Done!"
"The beef is ready, too, we just have to cut it. Where is the sauce?"
"Here, Chef Lee."
Finally, dinner is served, both for humans and felines. The cats look pleased for the food, now it's time for you two to taste the beef.
You try a piece, carefully chewing.
"Well?" Minho asks, worried.
"I'm not dead yet, see?" 
"Why do I even ask you for help? Tsk." 
"Just kidding, it's great, try it yourself."

Being there with your loved ones (cats included of course), laughing and, you know, just being there, feels really nice. A family, having fun and staying together.
