In the meantime, Kai has messaged Baby that he has invited some of his friends over for a games night so that Baby wouldn’t be overwhelmed when coming home for dinner. Baby then realised she had forgotten to tell Kai she had a dinner date with Eunwoo. So she politely excused herself from Hyung Sik’s office in order to call Kai and explain what she was doing later. Kai wasn’t surprised that Baby was catching up with Eunwoo and asked her to bring him over to play with the boys too. Baby replied okay.
Baby returned to say her final thoughts to her cousin when he also received a phone call. It was her uncle. Hyung Sik didn’t mention he had met with his estranged cousin and the call ended quickly as he said he was in a meeting with an important client. Baby then asked her cousin to keep their relationship a secret for now. Hyung Sik agreed. Then before Baby left he grabbed Baby to give her a hug. Baby was happily surprised by the gesture and thanked him for being so nice to her. Hyung Sik then asked Baby to please keep in touch as he really wanted them to have a close relationship like brother and sister. Baby was happy he felt that way as she always longed for family. Baby agreed and nodded as she walked out the door.
