The whole day in school just went by as usual. It was time to leave. Jungkook and y/n packed their bags and headed towards their home. On the way back Jungkook felt very guilty towards y/n as she has to listen to the teachers and others because of him. He never puts so much thought into this, but today after what Taehyung said he somewhere felt that he was in wrong.
JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V
Today when were walking back home i felt guilty from inside that because of me y/n has to be the part of embarrassment. I just couldn't take off my mind from the thought that y/n has to feel embarrassed because of me. I was reflecting on what Taehyung said earlier was right somewhere. Although y/n took my side I was still sad. I was just lost in my own thoughts.
Y/N's P.O.V
After packing our bags we headed towards our home. As usual I was walking with Jungkook not because he is my bestie(that's one of the reasons actually) but also he is my neighbour. But today was different than other days. Usually he talks and talks the whole way till we reach our home.... or just stops by a food stall to eat. But today he was quite. He didn't even bothered to look around in the surrounding. I looked towards him and he was lost in his own thoughts. Maybe after what happened at school in the morning he felt upset. I could sense he was hurt because he was quite the whole day. I thought of breaking this silence and talk to him.
“Kookie is something wrong” I called out to him but he was too engrossed in whatever he was thinking. Again I called out to him while shaking his arm and that's when he turned his attention towards me.
“Yah, what has got into you why are you acting like this. ”
“From morning I am noticing you, you are just lost in your own world. Are you sad because of what happened in the school this morning. ” then finally he spoke
“Y/n....... it's just...... Idk how... like... You are always late because of me, you are always yelled because of me and then you have to face embarrassment and it's all because of me. Just because I am lazy enough to get up. ”
I never expected that he felt like that. He was guilty towards me.
“Today after what Taehyung said I feel he is right, I am just being selfish. Maybe you should just accept his offer and walk with him than with me, instead of being late and get embarrassed. ”
He just kept his eyes low. I made him look towards me.
“Kookie look at me” his eyes has become watery. Maybe what happened today affected him too much.
“Kookie you don't have to feel guilty towards me. ”
“Look I know we are always late as you can't get up early but it's not just you. I could have just easily left you along back ago and walked with Taehyung, but it's not like that. I like to wait for you despite being late everyday. I enjoy the little moments that I share with you, that I don't share with anyone else. ”
“I know you are always late but you can change, people change, habbits change you still have many years till we graduate. Okay now give me your cute little bunny smile which you always have. ” he finally gave in and smiled. I felt happy because he was smiling. He hugged me tightly and I hugged him back too with a smile.
Next thing he just grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the nearest food stall which he saw. Now I can finally see that my bunny is back.
JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V
After hearing what y/n said I felt happy that she feels like that. She doesn't think low of me and like to wait for me. She made me feel special. I decided to change my habbits for her. I was now happy inside out.
I finally gave in and smiled brightly towards her. I hugged her tightly smiling and she did the same. I saw a food stall and took her hand in mine and pulled her with me, because when I am happy food is the first thing I see.
