A: Rather than about being able to produce myself, music seems to be interesting because there's different way of expression it, be it composing, writing, or performing. Everyone has a different view while looking at the world. Just like slightly change in words will bring different meanings to it, even if we talk about the same story, wouldn't various music be born because of everyone's unique way of express it? In my case, I think straight forward and genuine fresh lyrics is a characteristic of my music.
Q: iKON's members Kim Donghyuk and Koo Junhoe also participated in your solo album. As members, you must have known each other's musical colors and abilities better than anyone else, right?
A: I asked for their participation because I thought I could make more voluminous sounds if I borrowed their strengths as I already knew the musical colors and capabilities of Donghyuk and Junhoe. And I think that's what actually happened. There was no particular reason why the album was done without featuring other artists, but if I have a chance someday, I really want to work with various artists.
