VERB (FUTURE TENSE -- 을/ㄹ 것이다)

STRUCTURE: Verb Stem 을/ㄹ 것이다

If the verb stem ends in vowel, add ㄹ. If it ends in consonant, add 을, leave space then add 것이다. The 것이다 at the end of the sentence will then be conjugated in any way that you prefer. (Remember the -요 and -니다 form)

EXAMPLE:

내일 숙제를 할 것입니다.
I will do homework tomorrow.

HOW:
하다 (to do)
Verb Stem: 하 (ends in vowel)
*하 ㄹ 것이다 = 할 것이다 (will do)
Conjugate: -니다 form
*할 것이 ㅂ니다 = 할 것입니다


내일 숙제를 할 것이에요.
I will do homework tomorrow.

HOW:
Conjugate: -요 form
*할 것이 에요 = 할 것이에요


선우는 학교에서 갈 것입니다.
Seonu will go to school.

HOW:
가다 (to go)
Verb Stem: 가 (ends in vowel)
*가 ㄹ 것이다 = 할 것이다 (will go)
Conjugate: -니다 form
*갈 것이 ㅂ니다 = 갈 것입니다


제이크는 김치를 먹을 것입니다.
Jake will eat kimchi.

HOW:
먹다 (to eat)
Verb Stem: 먹 (ends in consonant)
*먹 을 것이다 = 먹을 것이다 (will eat)
Conjugate: -니다 form
*먹을 것이 ㅂ니다 = 먹을 것입니다
