AT SCHOOL
They ran to the school but as usual they were late. It was already past 7. When they were about to enter the classroom their teacher stopped them. The class's attention was all towards them. Most of them were unbothered or giggling as it was a daily scenario. The teacher was furious.
“How many times do I have to tell you to be on time can't y'all just be punctual. ” the teacher yelled.
“ And if this happens once more, be ready to bring your parents next time. ” with that the teacher allowed both to enter the classroom.
JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V
We started running towards school. When we reached it was already past 7. I just hoped we don't get punished today because I don't want people to make fun of y/n too just like me. As we were about to enter Ms Hana stopped us. She was looking at us with rage as if she will just burst.
“How many times do I have to tell you not to be late can't y'all just be punctual. ” she yelled. I looked towards the class who were giggling then towards y/n who's head was down from embarrassment. I felt bad as again because of me she is being yelled too.
“And if this happens once more, be ready to bring your parents next time. ” she gave us a last warning with death glare.
We went towards our seats and sat down. As I was about to call y/n to apologise a voice interrupted. I knew whose voice it was “Hey y/n, Good morning. ” he called out to y/n.
“Why don't you just walk with me, why do you have to always wait for this gluttonous person and get embarrassed in front of the class. ” he said looking(with a smirk) towards me. He is Kim Taehyung. He moved here 3 years ago when we were 12 years old. He shifted in our neighbourhood, he used to go in another school, but joined our school a year ago. He has a crush on y/n and always tries to impress her with his sweet talks and smile. He always makes me low just to look good in y/n's eyes. He and I never got along from the start, he never liked me nor did I. So we didn't had a good friendship. I was about to answer him back when “I don't think I will accept your offer. I know I am always late because of him but its ok since he is my best friend. ” y/n said to him.
“And one thing don't call him gluttonous because he is not, and don't try to insult my Bestie like that again in front of me. ”
With that she turned towards the board. I felt very happy from inside as y/n doesn't think low of me and a smile came on my face.
Y/N's P.O.V
We entered the classroom and moved towards our seats as I was removing my book Taehyung called out to me “Hey y/n, good morning. ” I was just about to reply to him with morning when he spoke again.
“Why don't you just walk with me, why do you always have to wait for this gluttonous person and get embarrassed in front of the class. ” he said looking towards Jungkook. I know he doesn't get along with Jungkook from the start and Jungkook too doesn't like him. Taehyung always tries to make him low but I don't get involve too much because it's their fight(boy's fight). But this time he took it too much, he insulted my Bestie in front of me. I know I am always late because of Jungkook but that doesn't mean I am embarrassed of him being my friend.
“I don't think I will accept your offer. I know I am always late because of him but its ok since he is my best friend”I rejected his his offer but I was not done.
“And one thing don't call him gluttonous because he is not, and don't try to insult my Bestie like that again in front of me.” I just shut him up with my statement because no one calls my Bestie greedy (gluttonous) and insult him in front of me.
