I held his hand across the table and he stopped.

I smiled a bit. I think it's time.

Hee's forehead creased, mouth shut, just waiting for Erin.

Hee

“Two months ago."

Erin

I laughed a bit. “Yes,” I smiled while massaging the veins on his hand he probably earned from working out. I reached out my other hand.

Now I'm holding his left hand, his free hand, with both of my hands. Hopeful for whatever I'm gonna say next.

I didnt notice my eyes dropped into our hands. I raised my chin and looked at him, at his pure loving doe eyes that only looks at me.

“Love can we...” I find it hard to compose the words. Should I even ask him this?

Hee dropped his spoon carefully and held Erin's hand so both of them are now holding each other.

Hee

“Whatever it is, you can always tell me. If you find it hard to say, then maybe today's not the time for that. Don't stress yourself out.”

Erin

His smile. His warm comforting smile I never got tired of. How I wish I can see it first thing in the morning.
