CHAPTER 6

1 MONTH LATER:
Chaeyoung's P.O.V:

It's been a month since that incident, and thankfully Jin hasn't asked me about it since then. I still have them, but now I can control myself.

Me, Jin, Sojin, Sun-hee, Yeonjun and Beomgyu have become closer now. I also met Jin's bandmates, who call themselves BTS; Suga, Hoseok, RM and Jimin and Taehyung, who are also Jungkook's classmates and friends. 

I have seen them practise a few times and they are awesome! I didn't know Jin could sing so well! They all are really good. But one day I find a really surprising news.

It is Saturday and I am sitting in my dorm studying when suddenly the door opens and Jungkook walks in.

"Noona!" He exclaims excitedly, jumping up and down. "Woah, calm down!" I reply. "What's up, Kookie?"

"Noona I did the audition and I got in!" He squeals and I beam at him. "Really?! You're joking, right?"

"No Noona I am not joking. I got in, I got in!" He starts bouncing.

The audition that Jungkook is talking about was for BTS. They were looking for another member who could sing and dance. I encouraged Jungkook to try for it, since he has always had a passion for singing. He was shy at first, but then he went to the audition.

"Jungkook that's awesome!" I squeal and hug him. "Congrats!" 

"Thanks Noona! I came to tell you this only, I gotta run, Tae and Jiminie hyung will be looking for me! Bye, I love you!" He hugs me and leaves. I smile.
A few minutes later, someone enters my dorm again, but this time the person knocks. 

"Come in," I mutter, not looking up from my book.

"Hey," says Jin's voice from the door. I look up. "Oh hey, it's you," I say. "What's up?"

Jin sits on the chair next to me. "Nothing. What are you doing?" 

I pout. "I was studying," I reply. 

"Ahh did I disturb you?" He asks.

"Nahhh. What's up?"

I notice he is fiddling with his fingers. I wonder what he wants to ask me. I have never seen him this nervous.....

"Well....uh....." He begins. "I wanted to ask you that.....um....."

But right at that moment, Sun-hee comes running in the room, Beomgyu with her, both looking worried and panicked.

"What the heck?!" I gape at the two of them.

Sun-hee immediately bursts into tears. I look at Beomgyu, asking for an explanation. He catches his breath and says, "You dad....he....." He pants.

My eyes widen and I grab and shake him from his shoulders. "WHAT HAPPENED TO DAD?!" 

Beomgyu catches his breath and says, "Sun-hee got a call from the hospital...... Your dad was coming to Seoul to visit you guys but....."

"BUT WHAT?!" I shout.

"But....he had a car accident.....he's in Seoul Hospital right now and-" 

Before he can finish, I grab my car keys and run out, Jin, Sun-hee and Beomgyu calling me from behind. How do I tell Jungkook? What will happen to dad? We can't lose HIM too......

I reach the basketball court and Jungkook is there with Taehyung and Jimin. I call him. "Jungkook......we are going to the hospital....right now...." I pant.

"W-what? Why? What happened?" He asks worriedly. 

"Dad.....had a car accident......we have to go now....come on!" I exclaim.

Since it is Friday, students can go where ever they like so we don't have much of a problem. 

Sun-hee, Jin and Beomgyu catch up with us. "Do you want me to drive you guys?" Jin asks worriedly. I shake my head. "We'll be fine. Besides, if you come, Sojin will be worried and I wouldn't want that," I reply. 

He bites his lip and says, "Okay but be careful and text me when you reach there." He gives me a quick hug which shocks me. He smiles nervously and walks back. 

What the heck was that?! 

We get into the car after saying goodbye to Beomgyu who reluctantly goes back. I start the car and we leave the campus.

Jin's P.O.V:

Will I ever get the chance to ask her? Ahhhh.... Every time I make up my mind something always happens.

I mean, ofcourse I am worried for her father, but......Oh god, this is so messed up....!

When will I get the right time to ask her?! Argh....

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice as I bump into someone in the hallway.

"Ah...I'm sorry," I mumble. I hear a familiar laugh.

"Jin, what the heck," laughs Sojin as she picks up her books. "Which planet are you on?"

"Um.....Earth..?" I reply, flustered. She continues to laugh until she sees my worried expression. "What's wrong, Jin?" She asks.

"Um.....let's talk somewhere else, shall we?" I say and drag her outside as we were getting stares from the other students. We sit down on a bench.

"Well...." I explain to her about Chaeyoung's father. "And apart from that.....well, something's been nagging me for a few days....." I tell her about that incident that happened a month ago and she seems a bit shocked. "So....I want to know what's bothering her that she gets those nightmares.....and also, I want to know who is....what was his name again? Yes, James."

On the name, she abruptly sits up. "J-James?" She stutters.

"Yes, James," I raise my brows. "Why? Do you know him?" 

"Uh....N-no.....why would you think that....?" She sits back down.

"Well you reacted as if you knew him," I shrug. 

She clears her throat. "Well......why are you so.....interested in all this? I mean....."

I smirk at her. "Are you jealous?"

At that, she turns red. "No! I'm not! I mean....uh...."

I laugh and interrupt her with a kiss which surprises her. I break apart and wink at her.

Before she can react, there's a shadow infront of us. I look up and see that it's Yeonjun.

"Hey Jin, can we talk for a moment?" He asks me.

"Sure," I say and I get up. "Be right back," I wave at Sojin and I follow Yeonjun into his dorm.

"Well, what is it? I ask him and he takes a deep breath. 

"Well...you see....."

"It's about Chaeyoung......"
