CHAPTER 7

Yeonjun's P.O.V:

".....It's about Chaeyoung....." I say.

Jin is a bit taken aback. "What about her?"

I shrug. "You see.....I heard what you were saying about her past and stuff....."

~FLASHBACK~

I was walking back from my locker when I see Jin and Sojin talking. I have never liked Sojin that much......but I can bear her. But something catches my eye and it is that Jin is looking worried. I'm guessing it's because of Chaeyoung's father because I am also worried for her and her sibblings, but my sixth sense tells me that something else is up.

Well, I usually don't eavesdrop on people, but I follow the both of them outside where they sit on a bench. I hide behind a bush and listen to what Jin is explaining to Sojin.

I am completely taken aback by what he said and the way Sojin reacted when Jin mentioned James.....something is definitely fishy.....

But why is he worrying about it so much? Oh I do hope he doesn't think of asking her....she has been so broken these past few months.....

I have to talk to Jin about it....

In the time I have known Seokjin, he has never paid that much attention to anyone else that much, especially if it is a girl since he is already dating Sojin.....

I gather my courage and walk up to them.

"Hey Jin, can I talk to you for a moment?" I ask him casually.

He stands up. "Sure," he says. I nod and start walking to my dorm with him following behind me. I don't even know what I'm gonna say to him.....but I'm doing it for Chaeyoung....

~END OF FLASHBACK~

"So....yeah," I release a breath as I finish explaining.

"So....um.....What is it that you're trynna say?" asks a confused looking Seokjin.

"What I am saying is that....give her some time. I would not want her to breakdown again. If she thinks it's right then she'll tell you about everything," I reply. 

"Okay, but I have a question," asks Jin.

"Go ahead."

"Who is James??" I freeze.

Should I tell him? He seems desperate for an answer but I don't know if it's the right thing to do....

I sigh, "Not is. Was."

He blinks. "Wha- Oh."

I sigh again. "He was.... Chaeyoung's boyfriend....and like an older brother to me and Beomgyu. He died and year ago and Chae still blames herself for his death."

There is a moment of silence then Jin speaks up, "But....why? Why does she blame herself?"

"I'm sorry but I can't tell you more than that," I reply darkly. "And I would suggest that you donot mention James's name infront of Chaeyoung. She will tell you when the time is right."

Seokjin nods his head. "I understand. Just.....one last thing....."

"Yes?"

"Do you....do you....um......" He begins nervously. 

"Do I what?" I ask, confused.

"Do you....have.....feelings for Chaeyoung...?" I blink

"W-why w-would y-you think t-that...?" I stutter. Aish, Yeonjun! Why are you stuttering?

Jin shrugs awkwardly. "I mean.....I understand that you have been her friend since a long time but......I feel as if....um....as if she means more than just a friend.....to you..."

I walk towards the door. I turn back and look at him. "Yes. Yes she does."
