BTS new album has released a month ago. We haven't received any reply or email from BIG HIT regarding our proposal to interview them. So I thought, maybe they have choose another magazine for their exclusive stories. To be honest, I was a bit dissapointed but then again I have to accept the fact that there are a lot of rivals out there and it's not our luck to interview them this time. But I believe that, the opportunity will come soon or someday.
I didn't let this feeling of disappointment, stop me from doing my work as usual. The situation in the office this morning was a little quiet, as we were quite busy doing our respective work. I get my handphone, switch on the Bluetooth and pair it with my earbuds. I went to Spotify and chose songs from BTS's new album as songs to lift the spirit of doing work. One of my favorite songs in this album was "00:00 O'clock". "Nobody has to feel down about having a bad day, because at 00:00 O'clock, the time resets into a brand new day, and it will be better. " A beautiful lyrics. But mostly of their songs had a beautiful and amazing lyrics, I couldn't agree more when ARMYs says "BTS is different from any idol group." I get quite a lot of information about them, their fandom, since that day. I'm glad I get to know them.
I was really focus on my work that I did not hear Mrs Youn call me, after all I was so devoutly listening to BTS songs. I feel someone shaking my shoulder. I look up and it was Jihye eonni.
"Eonni, I'm so sorry. What is it?"
"Yoori, Mrs Youn is looking for you...like right now. She's been calling you just now."
"Oh no! Okay, I'm going to see her right away. Thanks eonni."
I rush into Mrs Youn office and knock on her door. I hear "come in" from inside and I open the door.
"Mrs Youn, I'm so sorry. I was so focus on my work while listening to some music and I didn't hear you call me just now."
"It's okay. It's only been a few seconds ago, please have a sit.... Now Yoori, before I say anything, I want you to calm down, take a deep breath okay? I'm pretty sure, you'll be excited for this news...Oh God... Why am I excited too? I've received this a couple of minutes ago and print it out. Take your time and read it carefully."
She handed me a few pieces of paper. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, take a deep breath and started reading the paper given to me by Mrs Youn. Not long after that, my hands is shaking, my tears started to fall. I couldn't believe, what I've just read. I look at Mrs Youn and she's crying too. She open her arms and hugged me tightly.
After a few minutes, I came out from Mrs Youn office, with red swollen eyes and went straight to my desk. I looked back at the papers in my hands and started crying again. Sodam, who was at her desk, next to mine looking really concerned about me. She went to me and patting my back gently.
"Eooni, what happen? Something bad happened? Why are you crying?"
I tried to say something but my voice wouldn't came out. I just keep crying and crying, with my whole body is shaking. Sodam took the papers from my hand and read it right away. A few moments later, all of a sudden, she hug me and started crying too.
