“What brought you here again?”

Erin

You can't tell him you miss his voice.

Erin

"I was bored..."

Hee

“I heard...”

Erin

“You heard?”

Hee

“Yes...”

Erin

“You were listening earlier huh?” There's another silence.

Hee

“So my question... I can feel it, Rin. It's not just boredom..”

Erin

His voice came raspy. Maybe it was because of the cold and the fact that he's blocking the cold wind with his body, for me.

Erin

With the small amount of courage left, and a little bit of courage the darkness gave me, I told him, “You should move closer...”

Erin

He didn't talk, he just moved. Then there was an electrifying feeling that crept in my shoulder as soon as he closed the gap.

Hee

“I didn't know it would rain.”

Erin

“How come? You were outside though. You didn't notice the sky? And where's Jake?”

Erin

Once again, he was silent.

Erin

"Hey..."

Hee

He cleared his throat. “Don't move.”

Erin

Eh?

Erin

“Why?”

Erin

And the door from the other side opened. I saw shadow entered and heard a rugged breathing.

Hee

“There's Jake... To answer your question.”

Erin

Wow. I'm amazed by how he can recognize Jake even when we can't see him. They must really know each other.

Jake

“Hello?”

Erin

There goes his accent.

Jake

“Are you both sleeping? I'm jealous...”

Erin

I almost laughed at how he said those words. He sounds like a child complaining.

Erin

“Yeah, no. We're awake, Jake.”

Jake

“Is he?”

Erin

“Yeah. We didn't sleep.”

Jake

“Oh. I thought. Looks like the rain's not stopping, yeah? I feel so alone here. You both are lucky. You can just cuddle!”

Erin

My face heated up with what he said. “No!” I blurted out. “No need.”

Jake

He laughed a little. “Well, that's unfortunate for someone...”
