SAYING WHAT YOU WANT TO DO

"Want to" – Verb Stem 고 싶습니다

When you want to say that you want to do something, follow this structure:

Verb stem   고 싶습니다



HOW CAN WE KNOW THE VERB STEM?

Just take a verb and remove the 다 at the end.


EXAMPLE:

•저는 과일을 먹고 싶습니다.
"I want to eat fruits."

VERB USED: 
eat / 먹다 ~ remove 다 then add 고 싶습니다
= 먹고 싶습니다


•저는 엔하이픈을 만나고 싶습니다.
"I want to meet ENHYPEN."

VERB USED:
meet / 만나다 ~ remove 다 then add 고 싶습니다
= 만나고 싶습니다


VOCABULARY CHECK:
과일 - fruit
