According to the latest chart (as of December 28) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, Jimin's "Who" ranked 47th on Billboard's main single chart, the "Hot 100." Despite the special time of the Christmas season, the fact that his song is maintaining this ranking in a chart dominated by carols is considered an indicator of not only popularity but also musical value. In particular, "Who" once again showed its power to reverse course by rising in the rankings for two consecutive weeks.

The song has been on the 'Hot 100' chart for 22 consecutive weeks, breaking its own record for the longest charting period for a Korean solo artist since PSY's 'Gangnam Style'. It is also notable that it is the first and only K-pop solo song to have stayed in the Billboard 'Hot 100' Top 60 for its first 22 weeks after release. This is an example of Jimin's music being consistently loved despite the passage of time, and it makes us realize the tireless support of global fans.

The album 'Muse', which includes 'Who', also ranked 136th on Billboard's main album chart 'Billboard 200', setting a record of entering the chart for 22 consecutive weeks. This is the only K-pop album released in 2024 to achieve this feat, once again confirming international recognition for Jimin's musical ability and artistry.

Jimin's Billboard chart performance is not limited to the main chart. On the 'Streaming Songs' chart, 'Who' also succeeded in entering the chart for 22 consecutive weeks at number 32. This is the second longest charting record in K-pop history after PSY's 'Gangnam Style', and has further strengthened his unrivaled position as a solo artist. In addition, he proved the continuation of his global popularity by rising to number 25 and 30 on the 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excluding US)' charts, respectively.

In particular, 'Muse' is also showing strength on Billboard's 'World Albums' chart, reclaiming the number one spot last week and rising to number two this week. This is the second longest chart-staying K-pop solo album following the 63 weeks recorded by his first solo album 'FACE', and serves as an indicator that his musical career is continuing to grow.

Regarding Jimin's record-breaking success, the American media outlet Asian arts, culture, and entertainment 'AsianEAC' praised him, calling him a "living legend." In particular, the media highly praised his musical influence, saying, "He set this record despite having no promotional activities in the United States during the Christmas season, no special collaboration projects, and he is currently serving in the military." This means that Jimin's music itself deeply resonates with fans and the public.

Jimin's solo activities are a representative example of his versatile musical sense and passion, and attention is focused on what new mark Jimin's music will leave in the global music market in the future.
