News about Nam Woo-hyun's 2nd full-length album 2X8

I had been curious about the whereabouts of the INFINITE members for a while, and Nam Woo-hyun has returned to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his solo debut. He released his second full-length album, 2X8, on October 14, 2026, at 6 PM. The title track is "Devil," a song themed around good and evil.

The album contains a total of 16 songs. Nam Woo-hyun revealed that he personally participated in writing the lyrics, composing, and arranging all the tracks. He introduced the album as one that captures his 10 years, featuring various genres ranging from dance and rock to R&B. It also includes "Boys and Girls," featuring members of INFINITE.

In the interview, he mentioned that after undergoing GIST surgery in 2023, he became more immersed in songwriting while managing his health. He stated that a concert is scheduled for next month and that he wants to repay the fans who have waited for him with a great performance. He also shared that he is planning group activities with the INFINITE members around next year.

Nam Woo-hyun mentioned that he considers the INFINITE members like brothers, and said that these days, they are maintaining the team well by being considerate of one another. Hearing his honest story put my mind at ease. I could feel how much effort he must have put in while preparing for the album and concert. I sincerely cheer for him to continue performing in good health in the future.
