The morning of the skills evaluation dawned bright. Yeoju had been checking the documents and the competition room since early morning, and Teams S and A, the evaluators for this morning, were also busily preparing. Each member of the organization was organizing the papers with their profiles and evaluation sections in order, preparing supplies and their life-saving "balloons." Yeoju was thrilled at the prospect of evaluating her teammates' skills and witnessing Jungkook's.

At 10 a.m., with all preparations complete, Team S and Team A gathered in the competition room. The members tied balloons to their waists, and Hoseok helped Jungkook.

"For those who are new to the game, let me explain briefly: the balloon is your life. If the balloon bursts, you're considered dead and immediately eliminated. Still, if your skills have improved, that's a good thing."

The heroine spoke quietly. All the members of the organization responded loudly. After hearing them, she went up to the second floor and put on earplugs. From the second floor, which was open in the middle and blocked by a railing, she had a clear view of the battlefield. The members were nervously checking their weapons once more, and the heroine's face was devoid of expression. "Tang," the signal flare from the heroine signaled the start of the battle.

Behind the tense Jeong-guk, a bullet fired by the enemy team passed by him. As he looked tense and froze slightly, the female lead's expression also quickly hardened.

Why can't I show my skills? I thought I was good at it.

"JK. Come here."

Hoseok grabbed Jungkook and dragged him away. Perhaps coming to his senses at Hoseok's actions, he quickly hid behind a large structure. He grabbed the gun he had been holding and loaded it. He tugged on his balloon once to check if it was okay, then exhaled deeply.

Hoseok had already left to knock out his opponent. Jungkook, gripping his gun tightly, slightly stepped away from the structure. He stabbed the balloon of his unsuspecting opponent right in front of him with his sword. The balloon burst, and he emerged from the arena.

"Hmm... I thought you could only use guns, but when did you ever practice with a sword?"

The female protagonist muttered. After knocking out one person, Jungkook seemed to have gained confidence and strode around the arena, shooting his gun. As if warning, he shot his gun at the ground, slightly missing the balloons. When the opponent recognized him and turned around, he shot his gun and burst the balloon.

Meanwhile, Hoseok used a cluster of structures as a base and defended while attacking. He hid between the structures and quickly fired his gun when he heard the enemy approaching. While he was briefly distracted by Jeongguk's actions, Hoseok had already taken out the members of his own team, Team S.

The expression on Yeoju's face, watching from afar, distorted again. She shuffled through the papers, found Ho-seok's name in front of her, and began writing something in the blank space. Once she was finished, Yeoju lifted her eyes from the paper. Her eyes quickly followed the members of the organization, her hand scribbling something on the paper.

The members of the organization stopped moving at the loud alarm signaling the end of the showdown. All of the members, including Hoseok and Jungkook, gathered in front of Yeoju, who was already standing in the arena, having come down at some point. Jungkook gathered in front of Yeoju, calming his emotions and organizing his thoughts.

I didn't know guns would fly this far. The scene must be even more brutal, right?

"Everyone did well, and I'm glad you're better than before. I'll tell you about team changes and other things tomorrow, so don't practice today and rest."

As Yeoju finished speaking, the members of the organization left the waiting room. Jungkook followed the others back to the dorms, leaving only Hoseok and Yeoju in the waiting room. Hoseok bowed his head as Yeoju's expression hardened, realizing his mistake.

"Is it because I couldn't practice much because I was teaching JK? But it was a bit of a mistake."
"..."

Hoseok remained silent. A few minutes after the female protagonist left the waiting room, Hoseok also emerged.

"Fortunately, there are no changes in Team S and Team A. We can continue to do as we have been doing. JK, congratulations on becoming an official member of our organization. And JK, follow me right away."

The organization members were in an uproar, but as soon as Yeoju left, things quieted down. Jungkook passed the congratulatory members, greeted Hoseok, and followed Yeoju.
