A collection of short horror stories

Man Outside the Window

When I was in high school, my family lived on the first floor of a villa.

At that time, I shared a room with my sister.

It was a very hot summer day,

Since it's the first floor, I was debating whether to open the window or not, but there's also a mosquito screen.

I opened only one window slightly since I had the blinds closed.

So my sister and I enjoyed the breeze coming in through the window

We lay down side by side and were absorbed in a game on our phones.

After about 10 minutes,

Suddenly, my older sister opened her eyes wide and tapped me.

I asked my sister why I was doing that.

"Hey, can't you hear what's going on?

"It keeps making a 'knock knock' sound."

He said that.

"Huh? What are you talking about?

"I didn't hear it?"

Just as I was about to say,

dripping-

I could really hear something knocking.

The sound was coming from the window.

I carefully walked to the window and lifted the middle of the blind slightly.

But, there was a man who looked to be in his early 20s standing outside the window.

The man was standing in front of our room with the blinds drawn and knocking on the window.

I was so surprised that I forgot what was scary

"who are you?!"

When I shouted, the man didn't seem flustered at all.

"My friend lives on the second floor here.

We made plans to meet, but he didn't answer the phone.

"Please unlock the front door."

He said that.

Our villa had a password on the common entrance door.

But, I was suspicious because I wondered why he was knocking on our room window and asking such a strange request.

So I yelled at my dad who was in the bedroom.

"Dad!! There's a man here who wants me to unlock the front door!!"

Dad came into our room and asked what we were talking about.

You raised the blinds wide.

But, there was no one beyond the window.

I wondered where he had gone, so I opened the screen door and looked outside, and the man was running far away.

Dad closed the screen and lowered the blinds again,

He said that he had to move because it was too dangerous.

While talking to my dad like that, without thinking about anything

The moment I slightly raised the middle of the blind, I screamed and fell backwards.

As soon as my father saw the man, he grabbed a golf club from the house, swore at him, and ran outside.

The man had already run away again.

The next day, on the way home from school, I suddenly remembered what happened yesterday.

Like that man, I cupped my hands in a circle in front of the window of our room and looked into the room.

Even though the blinds were closed, I could see the room clearly through them.

And my dad checked to see if anyone lived on the second floor of our house.

They said that only a middle-aged couple lived there.

It seemed clear that the man had not come to meet his friend, but was peeking into our room.

My sister and I usually wore sleeveless tops and shorts in our room.

I moved now and no longer live on the first floor,

If there are people living on the first floor, please always be careful.
