The light of dawn signaled the dawn. The heroine, drenched in the pouring light, struggled out of bed as usual and ambled into the kitchen like a sleepy tiger. There, she found the sandwich she'd prepared the night before. Knowing she'd be busy today and desperately needed a breakfast to fuel her day, she felt a strong sense of resistance, so she tossed the sandwich aside, absentmindedly tucked away her bag that lay strewn across the floor, and headed out.

“ … I feel like I have to work overtime again today.”

"Clap clap clap," the heroine, feeling a bit grumpy, stepped into a puddle, and instead of a clear sound, a muffled one echoed. What a pity. She stared blankly down at her wet shoes, then hurriedly checked her watch before running back to work, leaving her soaked shoes behind. Doing something else on the way to work seems to be part of her daily routine.

‘Crack, crack,’

“Hello, good morning.. “

Just before entering the company building, I meticulously controlled my expression as usual. A rumbling sound, thunder and lightning in my head, and the rain falling, filled my mind. But I smiled brighter than anyone else and greeted them with energy. With a gentle and dignified greeting, I faced the company staff and slumped down to my seat, feeling listless. Seeing the mountain of work piled up, I wanted to despair, but I had the image. I pushed up my glasses, which had sunk to the bridge of my nose, and began working.

“Guys, let’s go have lunch.”

For some reason, the manager got up first and suggested that they go eat lunch. Yeo-ju was very hungry because she had skipped breakfast. As soon as the manager mentioned the word ‘lunch’, she reacted with lightning speed and jumped up from her seat. Hehe… It seems Yeo-ju was very hungry… The manager smiled awkwardly and led the employees to the cafeteria. Yeo-ju’s cheeks turned red with shame, and she covered her face and tried to hurry to the cafeteria.

“Ahhh..!”

The rainwater must not have dried yet. I stumbled and fell backwards because of the slippery water still stuck in my shoes.

“Be careful.”

In that moment, someone wrapped their arms around the female protagonist's waist as she leaned back, supporting her. The person who put his arms around her slender waist and helped her up again was none other than Jeon Jungkook. Jungkook stared intently at the female protagonist's face, which was about to burst with red.

“Are you okay? The floor must have been very slippery.”

“Uh.. uh..! It’s okay…”

“Oh, I’m sorry if your arm hurts.”

He notices that his arm is still around Yeoju's waist and hurriedly pulls it away. Yeoju smiles bashfully and says that thanks to him, she didn't fall. Jeongguk's cheeks were now the color of a newly bloomed rose, and he awkwardly leads Yeoju to the cafeteria to ask her to go eat lunch.
