A short story made up solely of my delusions

empty room

Even time seemed to have stopped there.
Old shadows are tangled on the wall
It looked as if it was screaming in the darkness.

She was sitting in the middle of the room.
His pale fingertips trembled, and even his breathing was shallow.
Her eyes seemed to be staring at something,
There was nothing in it.

The past was heavy and cruel.
From that day on, her heart slowly began to crumble.
It started out as a small and insignificant piece of gold.

But the gold spread and cracked, eventually losing its original form.
The wound was deep and showed no signs of healing.
Now her mind was locked behind a tightly closed iron door.
The door was protected by a wall she had built herself.

Every time a new love came along, the wall grew stronger.
She was afraid. The moment someone's hand touched her,
The fact that that wall might come crashing down.
Hiding behind the wall, she didn't even raise a finger.
No, I couldn't let it out. All my emotions were squeezed out.
All that was left was an empty shell.

She recalled the scene from that day in her memory.
The pain of losing something precious,
It ruined her like a poison boiling inside her body.
The pain was so vivid.

So she vowed never to let that happen again.
I will close the door of my heart and not let anyone in.

The only way to avoid getting hurt is
It was something that no one would let near.

But that loneliness left another kind of wound.
In the silence she heard herself crumble.
A faint voice whispered in a corner of my heart.
‘Is this okay?’ But even that question
It soon disappeared into the darkness.

She rejected all light.
With his eyes closed, he locked himself in solitude.
And I swore to myself that I would never be hurt again.
I will never love again.
She sinks deeper and deeper into the darkness,
I just watched as if I was watching the process of losing myself.

There was no one in the empty room.Nobody, nobody.
