The source of the strange noise is the female protagonist's room.
When I opened the door and went in, the female protagonist was sick.

Due to the female protagonist's stubbornness, the director father had no choice but to bring her some medicine and head to another room to put the children to sleep.
After taking the medicine, Yeo-ju went back to bed, but she couldn't fall asleep easily because she kept feeling cold. A little while later, the director came back and put a wet towel on Yeo-ju and covered her with another blanket. Only then was she able to fall asleep.
