⏩FAST FORWARD⏩
It was 6 pm when I got home. I went straight to my room to rest because I hadn't slept since the night before. And I had so much paper work to do at the company all day that I needed a deep rest.
I sighed after laying my tired body on my bed. But just a few moments later, I suddenly felt sad again.
I glanced at the picture frame on my desk. To this day, I still can't get it off my mind. I know I need to move on, but I can't take my eyes off his gentle face smiling at this picture of him. A picture of the two of us together and happy.
I want to leave the past behind, but I'm not ready yet. Because to this day, I admit, I still miss Arjay.
As I looked at that picture, I didn't realize that my tears were flowing again. I still can't help but feel hurt every time I think of him. Especially the memory of that night. When he himself decided to let go of our relationship.

Today is Arjay and I'm celebrating our first anniversary. Just think, a year has passed since he answered me. You read that right! I answered him in a way that said, I WAS THE ONE WHO MISLED HIM!
How could it be, he was so stupid, so I had to find a way to continue our love story.
And I didn't make a mistake in choosing him. Since we started dating, I can feel his love, his care, his sweetness, and he never fails to make me happy. He can make me happy in any way, even with just a simple smile, he really makes my heart melt.
ARJAY: "Are you happy?" he asked while holding my hand tightly and staring at me.
SHARLENE: "What are you doing! Of course! Thank you for your effort just to prepare all of this for me. I didn't expect you to do all this! I am really surprised. Thank you!" I said while hugging her.
We're here because he's at his condo and he prepared a romantic dinner for us right here on the roof top of the condo. He also prepared the food. Well, about the food, I won't be surprised because Arjay is a Culinary student.
And I believe in the saying..
"A way to a womans heart, is through her stomach"
Hehe! That's why I love him so much, because I know he won't make me hungry! Just a charoot!
Arjay is such an amazing person. He's responsible, gentleman, and respectful. He's the man whom every girl will dream of. He's so perfect. And he's the one I really want to be with for the rest of my life.
ARJAY: "I'm glad to make you happy." he said then kissed me on my forehead. "Ahm, Sharlene, after we eat, can you come with me?" he asked seriously.
SHARLENE: "Where are we going?" I asked with a smile.
ARJAY: "Somewhere memorable for me." he answered seriously.
SHARLENE: "But, it's getting late. You know I have a curfew at 7pm, right?" I told her.
ARJAY: "Don't worry, I'll take care of you. In fact, I've already said goodbye to Tito and Tita." he replied with a smile, which calmed my worries.
SHARLENE: "You did it! It's a good thing they agreed?" I said with a mixture of astonishment.
My parents are strict, especially Daddy. They are very protective because I am their only child. But I am not against their rule, because I myself do not like to stay out late at night. That is why I was very surprised that they allowed Arjay to take me with me even after my curfew.
ARJAY: "Well, maybe they can't resist my charm!" he said proudly.
After we ate, Arjay and I took him to a place. It took us about 30 minutes to get there. When we got there, my joy was almost uncontrollable.
SHARLENE: "I think I know why this place was memorable for you." I said with a hint of teasing.
Anyway, he took me to the beach where I confessed that I liked him.
After I said that, he took my hand and we started walking hand in hand.
ARJAY: "This is where you confessed to me." he said smiling.
SHARLENE: "Oh my! You scolded me then. Then you left me hanging like an idiot. Shh." I said annoyed.
ARJAY: "I was annoyed with you. I was planning to confess to you, but you beat me to it. But to be honest, I was really excited. I just didn't want to show it, so I chose to tell you," he explained.
SHARLENE: "Ah, that's right! You just meant to make me suffer by flirting with you, huh! You're annoying!" I said laughing as I slapped her arm.
He just smiled and started to squeeze my hand. He held it tighter so I did the same.
Until he stopped walking so I stopped too and faced him.
SHARLENE: "What's wrong?" I asked.
He just looked at me. And after a few moments, he slowly touched his lips to mine. It took a while. Until our lips moved away again.
ARJAY: "If only I could do this for the rest of my life. To be with you, to hold your hand tightly, to kiss you, to hug you, to catch a glimpse of you every day, I would do it." he said seriously.
SHARLENE: "What are you, I'm the same way. You're the person I imagine being with for the rest of my life. I love you so much Arjay." I said while hugging him.
ARJAY: "Sharlene, there's something I want to tell you." he said.
SHARLENE: "What is that?" I asked, surprised.
My chest suddenly started pounding. I don't know why, but I suddenly felt nervous.
OMG! Is this it? Is he going to propose to me? I know it's too early for me to think about that, but I'm ready to accept it.
