"Let's make this official. I want a divorce."

I was about to surprise my parents that I passed the Seoul University Entrance Exam but it was all gone wrong. This is not a things I want.

"Selena how's your parents reaction?" Hyerin chatted me.

It made me cry even more. I turned off my phone then went to a place that somehow my heart will be at ease. I decided to sit near the shore. The sky is sparkling yet I cant appreciate the beauty of it.

My tears starts to fall.

"Why? I've been a kind and respectful daughter all the time. I only wish for the best. SO WHY?!" I shouted.

"Maybe their are things that meant to happen. We cant stop the wheel of desitiny." Someone answered.

He crumpled the plastic bottle and threw it to the trash can. He looked at me and smile a bit. After a while, he sitted beside me.

"Care to share? We are strangers, so I can lend an ear."  Whats with this guy.

"ahh uhmm..  nothing." I said.

"You know, I need someone to talk too." He stated.

"I need someone to listen to me. To give me some advice." He said again.

"Why? Is there something bothering you?" I asked because I got curious.

"I have this fear called 'fear of not to be chosen' " He said.

"By a girl?" He chuckles.

"Aniyo" He said with hand gestures.

"This fear competing with my confidence. It was dropped. The moment I wont be included, its done. All my hardworks, efforts and sacrifices will be just useless." He said with a worries and fears on his tone.

His face became more serious.

"We are strangers, but I guess you are strong and you will be chosen. Your efforts will be paid off." He just stared at me.

"Lets talk about yours." He said.

"Ahmm.. nothing to worry about." I want to share mine but my mind is still in between.

"Common.. " I sighed. His smile sparkles.  The most pretty smile I've seen in my entire life.

"hmmm how should I start this."

"You should start it with first. I am waiting here." He stated and comfortably sit as he faced towards my direction.

I was looking at the seashore while he is sitting beside and facing me.

"So my mood was just fucked up. Was about to celebrate passing my entrance exam in a very well known school but Its all gone wrong. My parents are planning for a divorce." I said bluntly stucked staring in the sea.

I can see his reaction on my peripheral vission. He sighed.

"Its sadden me and its heavy because family is important. I am hopping that their mind will be enlighten. Sorry." He said.

The tears I've been holding back for hours finally fall.

"Shhhh. Look I dont know how to comfort you but yeaaah dont cry too much. You are prettier if you smile." He said.

He is so sweet indeed.

"Whats your name?" I asked out of nowhere but he pointed the moon.

"If you are alone, in pain, need some motivation to go on, always look at me. I am that wondeful rounded shape who gave light to the darkest hours." I didnt understand what he is pertaining to, so I just nodded.

"Thank you for comforting me. At first, I was in between when you approached me because we are strangers."

"Then you thought I am" We both smiled.

"wanna hear a song?"

"Ehhh... you can sing?"

"Not really good" He chuckles.

"You call me a stranger, you say I'm a danger
but all this thoughts are living you tonight.
I'm broken abandoned you are an angel
making all my dreams come true tonight"

"Wow you have a very beautiful voice" I said. Yes he really has.

"Common I'll walk you home its late." He suggested.

"I wont go home. I'll stay here." I answered.

"What? Its dangerous. Its 1am tho" He replied.

"Go home first. I'll go after an hour."

"No.. lets go home plss. I cant leave you here. It is my conscience if something happened to you."

"I'm okay." I plainly said.

"Then Lets go home. In my house." I surprisely stared at him.

"what?" he scratches his neck.

"Lady If you dont want then lets just go to your-"

"No. Lets go."

"You sure?" He asked again.

"YES"

After walking for around 15mins, we reached his house.

"Mom and my sibling arent around. They went to my grannparents house. Also, I just go home 4 times every year." My eyes widely opened.

"WHAT? FOUR TIMES AS IN 4 DAYS." I said. It didnt process in my mind.

"YES" He chuckled.

He pointed the areas where I will be needing encase I want something or do something. His house is quiet small but elegant. I love it.

"Want some food?" He asked.

"No I am still full." I said.

"Can I go outside for awhile." I stated.

"Sure."

I decided to sat on the grass. Their garden is so beautiful. I remember the ciggarette  that my classmate gave to me. He said its a stress reliever and I can forget some things for a while. So I decided to try it.

I was about to light it up but someone grabbed it.

"Whats with you? First you dont wanna go home, then this?!" I was shocked by his reaction.

"Lets go inside" he grabbed me to stand up and went inside.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WITH YOU?" He asked.

"Nothing.. My classmate said it can make me forget some things for awhile." I explained bluntly. Well I am desperate.

"Huh.. Really? YES IT CAN BECAUSE THIS ONE CONTAINED HARMFUL SUBSTANCE!!! Do you even know that?" He exclaimed.

"Sorry." He immediately apologize upon shouting.

"I just want to forget this heavy thoughts in my mind" I cried

"But not to the point of ruining you life miss." He stated.

"Its not ruining. Its kind of escaping." I defended myself.

"HUHH.. So whats the point that I invited you here? I CARED because I have a sister too. I cared because you can be anyone. There is a life ahead. It wont end just becuse of your parents fuckin divorce thing!"

"Sorry, I'll just leave." I stated.

"ANIYO, NO ONE IS LEAVING. STAY HERE, GIVE ME THE REST OF THIS." He showed the ciggarette.

I made about two steps towards the door but he held my wrist tight.

"Dont go. I will be guilty if something happened to you."

I dont know how to react because we are strangers right? He hugs me from the back.

"I want to forget all the things right now. Its killing me." I start to cry hard.

He faced me and wipe my tears. In my surprise he kissed me. Thats my first ever kiss so I got stucked.

"I hope this one can make you forget those pain too just dont waste your life plss" He said with full of worries in his eyes.

Then After that, my entire life becames diffrent.
