The prince

Do KyungSoo

Today's scenes had been finished, the drama would be released soon, and the production team was working at full speed since the lead actress had decided to quit the project halfway through the drama and everything had to be reshot.

With this whole dilemma, he had less time to follow ChanYeol and write in the fan cafe. No one would think that the renowned actor Do KyungSoo was a fanboy of a barely relevant band called Chogiwa, but he was, and he had fallen into the clutches of fanaticism to the very core; there was no way out for him...

Flashback

"Here comes the frog boy!" I put my little hands to my ears. I was fed up with hearing all the "cute" nicknames the children gave me, just because my eyes were a little bigger and rounder. That didn't make me a frog, and being a little smaller than normal didn't help much. I couldn't give all those mean kids what they deserved.

This day was no different. One of them threw the ball they were playing with at me, and I fell onto the rocky path. The jeans I was wearing ripped, and now my knee had a small wound. Obviously, I started to cry. The mean kids laughed at me until a giant with Dumbo ears ran up to where I was. He had a guitar on his back. He quickly pulled out his guitar and yelled at the mean kids as he went after them, guitar in hand, trying to hit one of them with it. He gave the leader of that group a little graze on the elbow, and from then on, they stopped bothering me.

That boy was Chanyeol.

ChanYeol ran over to where I was, took out a small first-aid kit, and treated my wound. He had moved to Gyeonggi for a while and would be attending the same school as me.

The next day was Friday, I left home happier than usual, when I arrived at school, luck couldn't have smiled on me more, there was Chanyeol getting out of his truck.

I didn't know whether to run towards him and greet him or walk slowly and bump into him along the way. Before I could decide, Chanyeol saw me and ran towards me. From then on, we became friends. Chanyeol joined every extracurricular workshop he could, and to spend more time with him, I did the same.

We did several plays during that school year, sang duets, and won a local food contest.

Chanyeol often came to my house. My parents had never encountered him, and when they did, they attacked him, leaving him unconscious. That's when I learned that my parents were monsters, and that they weren't my real parents, but rather the royal guards. My real parents were the monster kings, and they had died at the hands of monster hunters. They told me I would understand when I came of age, but I had to stay away from him. In the future, Chanyeol would become a hunter; it was written in his destiny, and they wouldn't allow the prince of monsters to be in danger.

When ChanYeol woke up, he was in my room. I had to lie to him, saying that I had fallen asleep and was having a nightmare, which is why I woke him up, since he was sweating and kept saying "monsters this, monsters that."

That last part was true, I was very worried when I saw him in that state, and sadly I had to admit that for the sake of ChanYeol, my first friend, he should never set foot in my house again.

From then on, ChanYeol began to be afraid of the dark. Since the attack, small monsters would appear near him when he moved away from me, especially at night...
