Blunt Composition and Senior Min Talk

🎶
It's already been weeks since I vowed and declared that I would become close with senior Min Yoongi. Honestly, I've been going crazy about wanting to be close with him... but what kind of college student is this busy? It's understandable that senior Min would reject me because he's busy, but I'm clearly a freshman... why am I so busy? It felt like the days were passing by without me even having time to contact senior Min.
“Huh… Is this really the first year?”
“Really… I really think I’m going to die.”
“No, I don’t have time to do anything.”
“I want to kill all the people who said things would be easy once I got into college.”
“I admit it vehemently… By the way, what is Senior Min doing?”
“… You’re sick, you’re sick. Why do you talk about senior Min Yoongi like that every single day?”
“I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t been able to contact you…”
“Oh, so there’s been any progress?”
“If it had been there, wouldn’t something miraculous have happened where Min-seonbae would have contacted me first?”
“Let’s go home. Take care on your way home~”
“Yeah, you too.”
Today, too, I stayed up late at the school library with a friend, working through all the pending assignments one by one. As we stepped out of the library, a dark sky and chilly air greeted us. As we left school, we were both lamenting our fates. Lately, I kept thinking about Senior Min more than I did about school life, so I couldn't help but mention him.
My friend looked at me with pity, and I, too, smiled in vain, secretly waiting for Min Sunbae to contact me first. So I parted ways with my friend and hurried home, feeling the slightly chilly wind.

“Tch… It’s been a while since I’ve contacted you, but you’re finally calling me your junior?”
I'd been empathizing with the struggles of college life for so long, and it had been a long time since we last spoke. I'd expected him to be a little upset, but Min Sunbae was surprisingly consistent. I ended up pouting and leaving the chatroom, catching him off guard every now and then. "Oh, I don't know. It's been a while since I've had a drink!"
I opened the fridge to get my first alcohol fix, but when did I finish it all? It was empty. Well, I guess it makes sense, since I'd always stress out by opening a can of beer while doing homework. I nodded once or twice, put on my coat, grabbed my wallet, and headed to a nearby convenience store.
"Tseuup- Which one should I drink? This one? That one? Ah, I'm having a hard time deciding..."
As soon as I entered the convenience store, I went to the area where the liquor was lined up and started choosing what to drink. Looking at the sheer number of drinks on display, I felt a smile creep up my face. "Hah, what's the point of worrying? I have the money, so I can just buy whatever I want!" As I was slurping down beers one by one, a white hand suddenly appeared beside me, and a familiar voice rang out.
“Stop drinking and talking nonsense and quit, you crazy bastard.”
“Huh…? Senior??”
I stopped pouring beer and turned my head to look to the side. I saw Min Yoongi, the senior, on the phone, sulking. My eyes widened in surprise, and Min, who must have seen me, was slightly flustered. He hung up, paused for a moment, then reached out and picked up the can of beer he'd been meaning to buy.
“Why are you coming out here?”
“That’s what I wanted to say…? Why are you here, Senior?”
“Can’t you see it in your hand?”
“Ah… I’d like to have a drink too, senior… Do you live around here?”
“No, my friend called me, so I came out for a bit.”
"I see…"
“By the way, what kind of alcohol are you sweeping up?”
“Haha, can you just pretend you don’t see me? My eyes tend to wander when I see alcohol.”
“Since we’ve already met, would you like to have a drink together?”
“Wow, awesome. Did you just ask me to drink first, senior??”
“If you don’t like it, then don’t say it.”
“Hey~ Who doesn’t like it? I’ll quickly pay and leave!!”
My senior told me he'd called me because a friend had called him and stopped by on his way home, but I was so shocked I wondered if this was fate. What was even more surprising was that it was Senior Min who suggested we have a drink together. We met at the convenience store, paid for our drinks, and sat at a table outside with him, sharing a can of beer.
Chiik - Just hearing the sound of a can being opened made my heart feel refreshed, and a smile spread across my face. I stopped Min-seonbae, who was about to open a can of beer and drink it right away, and smiled brightly as I extended my hand to offer a toast.

“What about a toast…”
“Ahhhh - just do it once. This is what emotion is all about!”
"I'm freezing to death. Okay, okay?"
Min Sunbae looked at me strangely, but I didn't give in to his gaze and continued to reach out. Min Sunbae shook his head and, with no choice but to raise his can to his lips, bumped it against mine. Then we drank our beers. I could hear the gulp, and the weather was chilly. I put the can down with a "ugh" and shivered.
“Are you cold?”
“A little? Aren’t you cold, senior?”
“Not really.”
“Tch… Why is senior always like this?”
“It’s my heart.”
“That’s true… but, senior, do you know that?”
"what."
“I felt a little bad about what happened to my senior earlier.”
