With a click, the lights come on in the Magic Shop and business for the day begins.
".....Guests are coming"
He hasn't changed much since n years ago, but if I had to pick one thing that has changed, it's that he can't sleep comfortably anymore.
While he was lost in thought, a little boy came in.
"You are today's lucky guest..."
“Where... am I..?”
He slowly gets up from his seat.
“This is the Magic Shop, a place where wishes come true.”
“What does the little one wish for?”
“I’m not that kid! And… can you really make anything happen?”
He chuckles.
“Have I been living a life of deception?”
Suddenly, the remaining lights come on and the entire store becomes brightly lit.
“Well... should I show you around the store?”
The child nods slowly.
“This is all for show. The real thing is here.”
A fire appears in his hand, growing larger and larger until it finally becomes a large bottle filled with colorful pills.
"Can I eat it?"
The child whispers as if possessed.
“Okay, take one. If you take this medicine, your wish will come true.”
“But it must be a wish for others.”
He speaks, but the child's eyes are already on the medicine and he doesn't listen to him. The child swallows the medicine.
A little later...
"Gyaaaaaaaah!!"
With a scream, the child disappears, leaving only a rainbow of colored flames in a bottle in his place.
"...arrogant humans..."
He mutters and puts the bottle in the display case at the back of the store. Countless bottles are lined up in that display case.
