It must have fallen...
As a freshman in high school, I finally began to think about my future. I hadn't planned on pursuing taekwondo, but since I graduated from a physical education high school, I had no choice but to go to a physical education college, so I had to enroll in the taekwondo department. I decided to enroll in the Calligraphy and Physical Education College because it was one of the more prestigious physical education colleges. It was prestigious for a reason. To get into a Seoul-based school, you needed above-average grades, and even if it was a physical education college, it was still a Seoul-based one. I kept thinking, "I should've done well in middle school." I dedicated myself to my studies, and as a result, I became a well-known figure in the school. Therefore, when I mentioned my intention to become a martial artist during career counseling sessions, I received countless criticism and condemnations.

Congratulations on your admission.
Congratulations on your admission...?
What the heck, are you kidding me?
You're fast...?
Really?!?!?!?
ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ
And so, I turned 20, the beginning of youth. Going to the school I'd longed to attend, I woke up with puffy eyes, pinched my cheeks a few times, and realized this wasn't a dream. My cheeks were already red and as big as my puffy eyes. I couldn't be late on the first day, so I washed up as quickly as possible, curled my bangs, and stuffed a slice of bread into my mouth without even toasting it. I hummed a song while drying my hair. It was so dry I coughed. I stopped drying my hair, went to the fridge, grabbed some milk, drank it, and dried it again. After drying, I curled my hair in an S-curl, glared, and curled my bangs with a curling iron. Then I looked at myself in the mirror and burst out laughing. I saw my eyes straining against the breadcrumbs around my mouth. The funniest part was that I had a duck mouth. I wasn't even pouting, but I hadn't even realized it because I was so focused. I let out a hearty laugh in the morning, and then, with the trend of preening, I dressed up and put on makeup. I smiled, feeling like I finally had a chance to see it, put on my smartwatch, put on my wireless earbuds, and set off with a brisk step. I hummed along to Standing Egg's "Old Song," which I'm currently into, and passed the campus entrance.
I think we'll meet by chance at least once in our lives~..
-You sing well
Uh..yeah?
-Hello! Are you a freshman this time?
-I'm Yeshua! I'm a freshman too~
Do you want to go together?
-That's what I was talking about~ Are you clueless?
Oh, what did you say? I saw the person clearly.
I often hear that I'm really clueless.
-Haha ...
That's how I became friends with a girl named Yeshua. She was in the rhythmic gymnastics department and was a well-informed source of information at school. We exchanged phone numbers and followed each other on Instagram, and she seemed like a popular kid. She had a pretty voice, was beautiful, and had snow-white skin like Snow White.
-Let's take a picture!!!!
Oh my

Despite her pretty appearance, she possessed incredible energy and a powerful voice. She was prettiest when she was still. So, she was prettiest when she kept her mouth shut. And she loved taking pictures. The school campus was very spacious. It felt like a plaza within the campus, with buskers and cherry blossoms fluttering in the wind. The cherry blossoms were falling, but the buskers' songs were beautiful, and I loved everything about the school. That moment was fleeting. It wasn't much different from physical education. I guess I just drank like crazy...
(bar)
The freshman welcome parties were all held at the same place. I'm not sure if the school had a lot of money, but they rented two bars for the parties. Luckily, the rhythmic gymnastics and taekwondo departments were the ones who did it together.
Yeshuhua and I drank moderately. I was already a bit strong, but to prevent bad rumors from spreading here, and also because I knew what kind of trouble it would cause... Yeshuhua drank half a bottle and passed out drunk. I got up from the Taekwondo department and went to the Gymnastics department. Of course, to take care of Yeshuhua. The moment I was about to get up, the surroundings became noisy. People started to murmur and were curious, but they were too busy taking care of Yeshuhua to look back. Then, I heard a voice from somewhere, 'It's Senior Jeon Soyeon.' I pulled away from the hand that was supporting Yeshuhua and threw it away as if I was throwing it away and turned around.
-Hey.. you bad bird..
When I looked back, it was the woman I saw seven years ago. Jeon So-yeon, who had readily answered when I asked who she was. Jeon So-yeon, who had borrowed my hair tie. Jeon So-yeon, who had recognized my name after seeing my zodiac sign. That very Jeon So-yeon. 'The face in the developed photos in my room is that of a senior from the Taekwondo department...' Seeing that expression, Yeshuhua glared and, with his speech slurred, made a murder threat.
-You... You... You abandoned me just because of that senior...
I love you, Shuhua. I have to go.
-You bad girl, I'm going to kill you.
"But I still have feelings..." was a ridiculous claim. The vast Republic of Korea felt smaller than I'd expected. Jeon So-yeon, whom I admire, was hanging out here. Then, our eyes met. She smiled for a fleeting moment, and it seemed like slow motion. At that moment, Jeon So-yeon came over and joined Shuhua and me. Shuhua was sprawled out on the table, sleeping, and Yeshuhua was just being scorned. What a piece of crap...
-Can I sit here?
Of course..!
-I don't have any friends here, so what are you doing sitting alone...? Freshman?
Yes, yes, my name is Song Woo-gi and I am currently enrolled in the Taekwondo Department.
-Song Woo-gi...? Why did I hear about it?
-Have we met before?
Ah... 7 years ago, when my senior got a 2nd grade in the civil service exam...
-Do you remember that?
Yes.. I remember..
I explained, racking every last bit of my memory. It was lovely to see my senior listen to me until the end. I sympathized and laughed along with her. She was a superior figure, difficult to get close to, but she was like a neighborhood older sister.
