Yeo-ju's mother, who was worried about Woo-jin, who lived like a wreck day after day, would come to their new home, which was now a mess and had nothing to eat because she didn't clean up, and would clean up the room and fill the fridge with side dishes. At first, Woo-jin refused vehemently, saying it was okay, but like anyone else, she didn't give in so easily. Every spring, when she found out that Woo-jin was having a hard time, Yeo-ju's mother would burst into tears. She always told him to live his own life and why he was having such a hard time. Nevertheless, Woo-jin couldn't forget Yeo-ju and lived on until now. One day, she even went to see Woo-jin and begged him.





"Woojin, you can't just hold on to Yeoju forever. I'm okay with you seeing someone else. If you're doing this because of me, then you can stop. Let's forget about Yeoju now."





But Woojin only gave the same answer.





“If I don’t remember Yeoju, who will? Mother. I have to remember Yeoju.”





She was silent for a while. After taking a deep breath, she put a white envelope in Woojin's hand. "What is this?" she asked, and when Woojin opened the envelope, she opened her mouth.





"Don't just stay at home so much. Go on a trip. You can stay there forever, so come back after a long time. I hope you can get your thoughts together when you go. I'm sorry Woojin, for making things difficult for you."



"What do you have to be sorry about, Mother? I'm sorry... I'm the one who took such a pretty girl away and made her suffer like this."



She smiled faintly. Then she said she would call it a day and left the house. Woojin looked at the ticket with the words “Jeju Island” written on it. The ticket was covered in pink cherry blossoms.
