====Our story start here!=====
"Park Serim, did you go to smoke again?" asked a middle-aged woman with a beer bottle in her hand.
"None of your business." the man surnamed Park quickly put on his black leather jacket.
"Yes !! As long as you stay here, all your business is my business too. You trouble maker, I told you to get married, find a good girl and give me lots of money!" the woman exclaimed pointing the bottoms of the bottle at him.
The man looked down on his half-conscious mother, then sighed softly. "Tsk, you bastard, I don't even want it like this ..."
"What ?! Tell me that I heard you right ?!"
"I'm going, Mom." Serim slammed the front door of his stuffy house like hell.
"ANDWAE, PARK SERIM."
Serim is coming down the steps of the old apartment he has been living in for a month since his family was evicted from their permanent home which was confiscated by police and took their father to iron bars. A month was spent by Serim with his (indeed) half-sane mother, a heavy drunkard, in that remote alley without any friendly neighbors or visiting the house. Apartment owners only send keys via courier service. The owner lives in the center of a city full of luxury, who knows where the idea of opening an old apartment for people to live in again.
Smoking a pack of cigarettes in front of the alley and letting the dregs fly on the asphalt is an old habit of Serim. For your information, he's jobless now. Nobody accepted him to work again due to his status as a corrupt child, had a criminal record, and was a heavy smoker. Luckily, his savings can still support him to this day.
Serim looked around, the atmosphere of the road around him has changed somewhat in the past month. Perhaps because the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, creating a sweet pink impression along the way. The warm wind hit his face, Serim closed his eyes, he felt much better now, although it could not be separated from the bad condition he was experiencing now. Is today a good sign for him? Hopefully so.
"KAING KAING!"
Serim was shocked, the cigarette slipped out of his hand. A maltese dog ran towards him biting a bouquet of white flowers.
Behind him, a half-blooded youth was chasing exhaustion. "Help me, catch the dog !!", he pointed at Serim.
Serim nodded, put on his stance and got ready to catch. The dog took a step back and was blocked by Serim.
"Got it!", But apparently Serim missed, the dog managed to get through the gap in his open leg.
"Ah no, Mini !!" The young man finally arrived at the place where Serim was standing, "GO GET HIM.", and tugged tightly on the sleeve of Serim's jacket to run with him.
The two of them, ah no, the three of them became a spectacle for people passing along the sidewalk of the shopping lane.
"MINI!"
"Is he your dog?"
"No, he belongs to my friend."
They arrive at a crossroads, a red light for drivers and people crossing the zebra crossing. The dog squeezed itself between the legs of the pedestrians, making the search difficult.
Serim and the half-blooded youth stopped by the side of the road, "Where is he?"
The light was green, the people pulled over, making the white dog stand out against the black asphalt.
"There he is! Hurry over there!" I just said that a sedan car seems impatient to go fast from the opposite direction, even though other cars are still stopping or just moving slowly, while the dog's position is still right in the middle of the road.
SICK!! SICK!!
Just the horn sounded, but the wheels were still turning, there was no sign of stopping.
"Watch out, dog !!" shouted one of the men.
"MINI-oh?"
Serim nimbly took off the stiff jacket that was interfering with his movements, then immediately ran to the middle of the road. He managed to catch the dog with the fastest record time he could, causing it to roll over and crash onto the pavement. That's right, one inch late he will be run over by a car. Serim moaned.
"Kaing! Kaing!", The dog that was in his arms was happily licking Serim's face, as if grateful for being saved. Serim laughed, picked it up while trying to sit up slowly. The crowd approached him a little.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, I am doing okay."
"Oh you're hurt! Do you need to be taken to the hospital?"
"Just scratched a little, thanks for reminding."
Until a few minutes Serim bowed to the people while convincing himself that he was still given a chance to live. He's fine.
"Kaing!" Mini barked for Serim.
"Er? Oh right, I didn't see your 'master'. Let's go find-"
"I'm here, hosh, hosh, hosh ... You're so great! Thank you so much for helping me!" The crossbreed young man put his hands on his knees. What a pity, it seemed like he was out of breath from running a lot. So much sweat.
"Sorry I left you, I bought medicine and drinking water. Your wound must be treated, let's go to the park for a moment."
"Crate!"
Okay.
There they were, now sitting on one of the nearby park benches. Mini sat quietly chewing a corndog, it seemed as if in return she stopped running and chose tame for a while. Just in case, he was wearing the neck collar that the crossbreed boy had brought. The young man is now painstakingly applying cotton after cotton to Serim's arm, which continues to bleed.
"I didn't buy sterile cloth earlier, only small bandages, cotton and hansaplast, later you have to change yourself at home." Serim just nodded, even though in his heart he wanted to say, 'I just keep wearing this shirt, how do you want a sterile cloth at home?'.
"Done, may move." The young man was a little proud of his work - scratches wrapped in non-skin colored bandages and cotton and abrasions plastered with hansaplast with the picture of a cute penguin.
"What's this? Isn't there anything special for adults?" Serim grinned, his arm looking cute.
The young man scratched his neck and pursed his lips, "That's all for sale, I just found out that there is a dispensary on the side of the road."
"All right, thank you anyway."
"I should have said that."
"Why?"
"You saved my friends dog."
"If it seems like you told me to, otherwise I wouldn't have done it."
"Is that so?"
"Ho-oh."
"What did you hold from there?"
"Ah this ..." Serim opened his hand, the bouquet of flowers that the dog had brought earlier, was damaged and withered helplessly. "I'm sorry, I didn't have time to save this one."
The half-blooded boy just nodded, "Better come with me,"
They walked for about three minutes until they reached the corner of the park, "here."
"Look, they're the same flower, right?"
Serim nodded.
"Now, just take a few, there are lots of these flowers in the corners of this garden. Come on, pick them."
Huh? If there was a plant officer they would have been evicted, but since the person in question was not there, Serim was 'just fine'. After all, he will not be scolded alone.
"Actually, this flower supply at my place has run out, that was the last one. This flower is selling well, my customers like it a lot. I think even our place is known more because customers liked the daisy flower that I made at first."
Oh, he's a florist, huh. Is there a flower shop around where he lives? Serim just found out. Serim thought there was only a flea shop and a few bakeries.
"You know? White Daisy means loyal love and innocence. She is also the symbol of April, the month of spring which also falls on this day. That's why I like her." ... actually born in April, hehe "
"Oh, hehe, is that so?"
"How about you yourself, there are flowers that you like? Maybe later I can pick up some at my shop."
"F-flower?"
Serim is confused. Never had he been interested in plants. If ever, it is because his teacher during school ordered him to observe the environment. At the end, Serim always ran off to the cafeteria and ended up being taken away. Kkeut.
"What is your name?"
Serim's brain suddenly stopped working, so he was a little surprised when asked suddenly. Moreover, the young man was now completely facing him - with a bunch of flowers in his hands.
"Park Layout."
"Oh, Serim-ssi, sorry to ask that late."
"Y-you yourself? Euh your name?"
"Hmmm? Ma Allen~"
"Oh."
"I was born 99 so please help, Serim-ssi," Allen bowed.
"Uh, don't be too formal. We are the same age."
"Woww amazing, hahahahahh."
There was about half an hour when they came home, back to the flower shop where Allen worked, bringing Mini.
"Hey, mr. Where have you been? Your shift ended half an hour ago." Woobin has his hands on his hips beside the shop window.
"Kaing! Kaing!" Mini barked happily, as if he thought his employer was deliberately welcoming him after so many hours of running away. 'My employer still loves me,' he thought.
"And who did you bring?" she whispered to Allen, "Your friend?"
Woobin pointed to the person in question - Serim was looking at the flower pots displayed in the glass window.
"Well, well, is there a problem?"
"Isn't he too handsome for us, mr. Ma?"
"Ahahahhaah," Allen patted Woobin's shoulder, "I'll ask him if you wanna go out with him."
Allen left, leaving Woobin frozen for a moment, "Wait? What ?!"
"Serim-ssi, this is for you."
Allen handed over a large bouquet of daisies, some of which were white, red, and orange.
"For me? Why?"
"As my thanks for today and ..."
Serim raised an eyebrow.
"... actually this shop will be closed temporarily. We are short on staff while both of our shifts are already over normal working hours. So we will take a temporary break. If only someone could replace us maybe we could stay open, especially this is spring. . Many people will buy flowers for various occasions- "
"I!"
"You?"
"I-I volunteered to work here! I'll prepare myself for the paperwork and interview, can-can you wait? I beg you," Serim bowed. He suddenly thought of his mother who needed rehabilitation, as well as his running low finances, this week he didn't eat regularly.
Allen - and the woobin behind the counter - stared at Serim, just for 5 seconds.
Guess what, they even accepted Serim without considering it for long. As a result, Serim was able to work and support his family. Allen and Serim, both became a good friends, met on the first day of April. Which then they always celebrate every next April. Next, and another one ...
If only so.
"Hey, Mini! Give me back the flower now! Hosh, hosh, hosh ..." a crossbreed young man was busy chasing his dog who carried a bouquet of white daisies along the sidewalk.
Serim is busy walking, smoking in front of the alley while calling happily, "Hey, hahhaha. How are the plans for tonight, didn't I tell you we will meet at bar X?"
"Miniii !!! Watch out for the intersection !!"
MURDER
The two of them passed.
Serim paused for a moment, looked at the dog and the young man who had just run through,
"MINI! BEWARE!"
"pips, hello, Serim Park? What's wrong with you?"
Serim snorted, walked back "No, looks like I drank too much with my mother. Hahahhah I'm like hallucinating for a moment, no big deal."
'I hope it's not a problem, but why then does my chest hurt ??'
Unfortunately that answer will never come to Serim again. There is no second chance.
The wind blew the cherry blossom petals, which then fell on the pool of fresh blood.
