TAKE #18
18th SCENE
-Sorrow engulfed in the worst emotions-

'' Ha... why did the director... ''
Soobin frowned and muttered as she watched Yeonjun and Seojin on the monitor. Unable to bear to even look at them with her own eyes, Soobin bit her lip and glanced at the monitor.
''Can I sit here?''
Subin, who heard Cheongyeon's softly whispering voice, nodded and offered her a chair.
I tried to act indifferent, but I felt like Cheongyeon was catching on to my jealousy.
''Are you okay?''
I'm not sure if the question of whether I'm okay is directed at myself or Cheongyeon.
''I heard. You and Seojin.''
''Oh... Did you meet my sister?''
''How did it happen?''
Subin nodded quietly.
"Aren't you anxious?"

"I'm anxious, and I don't even want to look at it. But what can I do... It's my job. It's not like I can just say I don't like it and not do it."
As soon as Subin finished speaking, the distance between Yeonjun and Seojin began to get closer.
"If you're really worried, take a look. We did this to show trust in each other at the beginning of our relationship, but we ended up being skinship twice as many times as the number of NGs."
"Can NGs fly? That's the worst..."
Subin smiled faintly at Cheongyeon's words. She looked no different from her innocent self, even though she said they were getting a divorce.
"It'll be completely different from the affectionate Yeonjun to his senior. I can guarantee that. If you don't know what it is, just watch it. It's not Yeonjun and Seojin, but Hyunchan and Se-ah."
Soobin forced a smile and shifted her gaze to Seojin and Yeonjun. They only briefly kissed and then parted ways before quickly pulling away.
''Is that... right...? ''
I asked, watching Subin's expression. Subin sighed and shouted.

''Cut!''
Yeonjun turned his head towards Subin with the sound of a cut, and their eyes met.
I jumped up and ran away like crazy.
''Seo, Seo Cheong-yeon!!!!''
I ran away, leaving behind Yeonjun's urgent voice, but soon after, I was caught by Yeonjun on the emergency stairs.
'' ...let go ''
''Sister... that... that...''
''Why... didn't you tell me? Huh?''

''It was my fault... I didn't know you would come...''
I was suddenly angry at Yeonjun's words. I heard it from Soobin, Beomgyu, and Seojin too. Yeonjun loves me so much.
That playful kiss from the kindergartener earlier showed how insincere he was, but that didn't mean I was okay with it.
''Still... Still, you should have said something!!''
It was really the worst.
''Let's... stop.''
''M, what...? ''
''Just... everything. Even the filming of Divorced Men and Women. Even our relationship. Yeah, actually, dragging it out this far... is really funny.''
''Sister... please...''
I roughly wiped away the tears that were flowing, but soon after, Yeonjun grabbed both my arms and stopped me.
''I'm sorry... I was wrong. Okay?''
''Say something...''
''That sounds like too much of an excuse.''
"Even if it's an excuse, say anything, otherwise I'll be so anxious I'll die."
Yeonjun knelt down on the spot. Tears fell one by one onto the palms he placed on his knees.

''I didn't want my sister to know. That I was filming a kissing scene with someone. I'm sorry... I'm really sorry...''
''You... you really are selfish, you know that? You idiot... you idiot... ''
I collapsed in front of Yeonjun and wept silently. The sadness I'd been feeling suddenly exploded.
''Do I have to hear from someone else that the person I love is filming a kissing scene?''
''I'm sorry, I'll definitely tell you next time...''
''I... I didn't even know that there was a script reading in the waiting room...! ''
''There... was, was there? ''
I nodded and wiped my tears. Yeonjun stood up, took my hand, and led me up the stairs in front of me.
''Then, sister, give it to me, kiss.''
Yeonjun, who had been crying and collapsed on the stairs, tapped his lips with red eyes.
'' what...? ''
Embarrassed, I jumped up and looked down at Yeonjun. Yeonjun arched his eyebrows prettily and said slyly, "Yes, that's Choi Yeonjun."

''You saw it earlier. That wasn't a kiss.''
He sat on the steps and looked up at me, his face noticeably red.
I took a deep breath and ripped off the microphone I had attached for the divorced couple broadcast.
''Don't regret it.''
''I won't do it, I regret it.''
And he started reciting the script he'd heard earlier. Specifically, Yeonjun's lines and emotions, or rather, Hyunchan's lines and emotions, as played by Yeonjun.
''I'm going to kiss you now. Either avoid it or accept it, do your best.''
I strode over to Yeonjun and unplugged his microphone. Yeonjun sat on the steps, looked up at me, and wrapped his arms around my waist.
And he said with a chuckle.

"Please tell me the next line. It's what I want to hear the most."
'' love you ''
Yeonjun opened his eyes wide, then blinked slowly a couple of times with a half-stunned expression. Perhaps he didn't know I would truly say I loved him.
He answered, furrowing the corners of his eyes.
'' huh. ''
'' ...This is all because of you, so you handle it yourself.''
I covered Yeonjun's eyes, bent down, and kissed him. It was the first kiss I'd given since filing for divorce.
