Episode 27 - Picnic

-Yujung and Taehyun-

 

A few days after getting back together, Yujung and Taehyun prepared a date disguised as a picnic.

To Yujung, Taehyun seemed familiar yet so changed, and Taehyun was simply so happy and glad to see Yujung after such a long time.

"But don’t people usually make kimbap when they go on picnics? Why are we having sandwiches?"

"Don’t you like sandwiches?"

"Oh, so that’s why?"

Yujung turned around and muttered softly.

"Anyway, your memory is insanely good..."

"I can hear you."

Yujung thought it was so fascinating to see Taehyun gripping the steering wheel with one hand and turning it this way and that.

He had clearly been a cute high school student until yesterday...

And suddenly, he’d grown up so much.

Yujung stared at Taehyun as if looking at a puppy that had grown into an adult.

"Why? Is me driving weird?"

Taehyun smiled brightly and kissed the nape of Yujung’s neck as he shook his head from side to side.

"Mmph... hey, are you crazy?!? You're driving...//"

"Hahaha, don’t worry. I’m watching the road."

'That shameless little...!! Where did the old Kang Taehyun go, the one whose ears would turn red just from a compliment ㅠㅠ'

Yujung pouted, rested her chin on her hand, and looked out the window.

Taehyun hummed as he drove.

A comfortable silence settled inside the car.

"We’re here! You can get out."

Taehyun finished parking and opened the car door for her.

"Thanks. Wow! Look at how nice the weather is!"

 

 

"Do you like nice weather that much? hahaha"

 

 

Yujung and Taehyun spread out a picnic mat in a suitably shaded spot.

It was a sunny day.

Like the day the first wish came true.

I’m a little worried it might not have been boring...

++) The image quality isn’t great, but you can tell they both have brown hair... feels so good...
