Don't wait for me

Episode 4 - I'll buy you strawberry milk

In the end, Yujeong was late.

The school Yujeong had originally attended was a small neighborhood high school, but here, she was attending Myth High School with Taehyun and also Jihye.

‘Myth High School…’

This school had always been Yujeong’s dream. Like Taehyun, who had gone to Myth High, she wanted to leave there too, become a singer, and someday stand on the same stage as him…

That had always been her dream.

Although she hadn’t been accepted and couldn’t make it come true, it had also always been one of her wishes.

‘Well, still, I did fulfill my wish in another way. Yeah! Let’s think of my past life as a previous life. Enjoy it!!’

While she was lost in thought, Yujeong’s eyes caught on a round back of someone’s head.

“Kang Taehyun!!”

Before she knew it, Yujeong ran up and hugged the boy with the round back of the head.

“What are you doing?”

Taehyun coldly brushed Yujeong’s hands away.

“Ah, sorry. I was just so happy to see you…”

“If you’re sorry, then stay away.”

‘He’s so cold. He’s basically an ice prince!’

“Hey, don’t you remember me? I’m Lee Yujeong!”

“...Don’t know.”

“You do know! I’m the girl who said I wanted to get close to you, Lee-Yu-Jeong!”

“...”

There was no reply.

“Geez, what a jerk…”

“What?”

“What, you only hear the bad stuff… Anyway, want to go to the snack bar?”

“No.”

“Why not? I’ll treat you! You like strawberry desserts, don’t you?”

“Have you been investigating me? No matter how much you want to get close to me, that’s a bit much.”

‘Well… from Kang Taehyun’s point of view, I’m just someone he’s never seen before… this is hard… how am I supposed to get close to him? Was I being too impatient?’

As Yujeong’s spirits sank, Taehyun quietly watched her and said,

“...Bring me strawberry milk.”

“Huh…?”

“I said I want strawberry milk.”

Yujeong’s face instantly lit up.

“I’ll go buy it!”

Watching Yujeong trot off to the snack bar, Taehyun gave a very faint smile.
