The child, who was sound asleep, started talking in his sleep, saying, "Daddy...where is Daddy?...um..."
She looked at Jaehwan, wondering if he was awake, but he was just talking, so she put the child to bed and then fell asleep for a while, thinking that she might close her eyes too. She was just lying down because she thought she would take a nap, but before she knew it, she was deeply asleep.

*Early morning

Suddenly, a toy flies towards her. She wakes up to the sound, but Jaehwan is awake and whines that he is hungry. Fearing that Jaehwan might be hungry, she puts the braised ribs she had prepared in advance on the table and says, "Let's eat." After the child sits down at the table, they eat together.

After a while, without knowing where the food went, Jaehwan starts preparing to enter school after washing the dishes.

She was raised by a single mother after being cruelly abandoned by her husband, even though her family was too burdensome to raise Jaehwan alone. She was worried that Jaehwan would be teased at school for being a fatherless child.

But contrary to her worries, the child grew up brightly and with a lively personality.

She smiles happily as she watches her child grow up, but then thinks about the need for a father.

She thought that he might have remarried after he had abandoned her so cruelly.
He was tall, handsome, rich, and had everything.

She thought that Jaehwan was just not showing his feelings for no reason, so she looked at the child for a moment, thinking that she should show him sometime later, and then finished preparing.

A friend he had never seen before was waiting in front of the house, calling out to Jaehwan, “Jaehwan, let’s go.”

The child answers "Yes!" and starts walking. When the friend next to him asks who she is, the child introduces herself with a bright smile, saying, "My mom!"

She looked at the friend who looked like a mischievous kid and asked, “Are you close with our Jaehwan?” and the child’s friend answered, “Yes, we played together a lot in kindergarten.”

As she was walking along, saying, "Okay, that's right," she arrived at the elementary school and waved to the child, saying, "Then, have a good entrance ceremony and I'll go." The child waved in agreement and went through the school gate.

She went to work right away as soon as Jaehwan entered school

Today, there was more work than expected. She was working as a cashier at a mart, but the income was quite good, so she worked hard and raised her child from birth.

But she worked with a bright face, and her coworkers thought she was just a bright person, but they had no idea that behind her smiling face, there was sadness.

While she was working hard at the mart, her child was studying hard at school and listening intently to the class. Today, it finished early, probably because it was the entrance ceremony.

Jaehwan was a little depressed because his mother couldn't pick him up because of work, but he found his way home safely and was able to eat thanks to his mother who had prepared the meal for him.

Although he is only in first grade, he is now able to prepare and eat meals on his own.

After finishing work, she went straight to the supermarket to buy some snacks before going straight home, and after buying some things, she headed home.

She came into the house without even dreaming that it would bring about such a huge problem.

“Jaehwan, mom is here ^-^” he said as he went in.

“Mom,” she says, and hugs Jaehwan right away. She gives him a quick kiss on the forehead and then spreads out some snacks.

When I asked, "Should I eat this?" the child laughed and said it was good, and immediately opened the package and ate it with relish.

She feels full just by looking at that child.

After looking at the child for a while, she goes to wash up saying, "Ah!" and is also taking a shower. Seeing that there is a bad burn on his shoulder, she has a sad expression again and quickly finishes showering. After confirming that Jaehwan has fallen asleep while eating a snack, she decides that today was a tiring day and goes to sleep too.
