Flower Butler: Please take care of the young lady!

Season 2 Episode 3

[3]

"baby.."

Seokjin also seemed embarrassed by his slip of the tongue, and was conscious of the gaze of those around him. He smiled nonchalantly and placed his hand on my head.

"Baby."

"Honey?" I looked up at Seokjin with a bewildered expression. He neatly spread out his math textbook and notebook on my desk, lowered himself, placed both arms on my desk, and looked at me with affectionate eyes.

"Even if math isn't fun, you have to listen and not fall asleep. Got it?"
"huh."

After nodding a couple of times towards Seokjin, Seokjin returns to his seat with a satisfied look on his face.

"Hey baby. Hey baby."
"No. What the hell are they doing as a group?"

Fortunately, the other children in the class seemed oblivious to the relationship between the young lady and the butlers. As Seokjin breathed a sigh of relief, Namjoon, sitting next to him, offered him a high five. Seokjin returned the favor by giving Namjoon a high five.

"You handled it so well, it was a bit greasy though. Ugh. Goosebumps."

Jimin shivers as if he's getting goosebumps. Taehyung winks at Seokjin, as if he's trying to tease him.

"Honey, you shouldn't fall asleep during math class."
"Hey. Kim Taehyung. Do you want to die?"

Just as Seokjin is about to retaliate against Taehyung, the door opens and the math teacher enters the classroom. Taehyung seizes the moment, rising from his seat and raising his hand.

"Hello, teacher."
"Oh, really. A friendly guy has arrived."

The young-looking math teacher naturally turned his gaze to Taehyung, and Seokjin eventually gave up on rushing at Taehyung and gritted his teeth as he sat back down. Anyway, Kim Taehyung. When I turned to Taehyung to try to stop him from bullying Seokjin, Taehyung smiled brighter than anyone else and made a heart with his hands at me. I couldn't spit in a smiling face, so I smiled back at Taehyung and sat back down facing forward. Kim Taehyung was more of a tough guy than I thought.

"I heard there were a lot of transfer students in this class today. Should we take a look at their skills?"

The math teacher wrote a problem on the board and looked intently at me and the other stewards. "No way. I can't get caught." I heard the explanation, but I couldn't understand a single word of it. I tried my best to avoid the teacher's gaze, but the teacher singled me out.

"Kim Yeo-ju is the only woman, so let's do this to commemorate her being the only woman."

I sighed and stood before the blackboard, my heart racing with anxiety. I felt the eyes of the classmates on me. I began to feel a pang of suffocation. I was standing in front of the blackboard, staring at it, but I couldn't see it. I held the chalk, but I couldn't even properly move the numbers. Then, I heard footsteps approaching from behind me, and Namjoon grabbed my hand holding the chalk and began writing on the blackboard.

"Oh, you. You."

The teacher scolded Namjoon, but he didn't stop and continued writing down the formula. After figuring out the answer perfectly, he let go of my hand and turned around to return to his seat.

"Just go in there, Kim Namjoon. Come back."

At the teacher's words, Namjoon obediently stands facing the math teacher.

"Kim Yeo-ju. Go back to your seat."

I looked at Namjoon with worried eyes, but he didn't react. The math teacher began to copy a problem that looked difficult at first glance onto the board. When the problem was filled, the teacher handed Namjoon the chalk.

"If you can steal another student's problem without the teacher asking you to, it means you're confident in math. Try solving this too."

The teacher didn't think Namjoon would be able to solve the problem. But the other butlers didn't seem too worried. In fact, their faces were brimming with confidence.

"What should I do, Namjoon? The problem looks difficult just by looking at it."
"You don't have to worry."

What the? Why is everyone so calm! Namjoon looks like he's going to get in trouble! I look up at the sound of chalk hitting the blackboard and see Namjoon solving the difficult problem without a hitch and handing the chalk back to the teacher. The teacher, with a bewildered expression, compares Namjoon's solution to the answer written on the blackboard and the workbook, then stiffly accepts the chalk from Namjoon, as if his body had frozen.

"Can I come in and take a look?"

The teacher nodded, looking at Namjoon with surprised eyes. He had deliberately given Namjoon a difficult problem from an advanced level. The math teacher instinctively knew that Namjoon was a student not to be messed with, as he had solved the problem without a second thought, even though the teacher had made mistakes.
.

"Wow. Namjoon is cool."

Break time. As I walk out with the butlers toward the flower bed, I look at Namjoon with sparkling eyes and he says as if it's obvious.

"I'm the lady's butler, so I have to do this much."

He's really cool. As I follow him around, gazing at Namjoon with admiring eyes, Taehyung looks at Namjoon with a pouty face.

"Chi. I'm going to study math too."
"What's up with Taehyung?"

As soon as the name Taehyung comes out of my mouth, Taehyung looks at me with expectant eyes.

"He really looks like a delinquent from a drama."
"They say I look like a bad student."
"I don't know why you were being so picky."

Taehyung was in despair, and Jungkook and Jimin were busy teasing him. But Yoongi was nowhere to be seen.

"shine!"
"yes?"
"It's not shiny!"
"It seems like Yoongi went to buy some snacks for the girl."

I nodded slightly, facing Jeongguk. I felt a bit under the weather. As I was wishing Yoongi would hurry up, I descended a few steps from the school building, and a long flower bed and stand came into view. I casually stepped onto the brick wall surrounding the flower bed and closed my eyes slightly.

'Mom. Mom. Are you coming?'
'If I just wait here, Mom will come and pick me up, right?'

I waited every day. On school days, I'd sit on the wall of this flowerbed, covered in wounds, staring blankly. Feeling the long-awaited feeling, I was about to feel melancholy again, when someone carefully took my hand, still on the wall. It was Jeongguk.

"Miss, it's dangerous to stand like that."
"It just reminded me of old times. I used to always play around here, walking along the wall."

The butlers, who had been quietly listening to my story, began to gradually move away from where Jungkook was standing, as if by agreement. I watched them with bewildered expressions, and Jungkook looked up at me from the wall and smiled brightly.

"Then shall we try it together? The game you like to play?"

"Yes, I'm not as alone as I was back then." I met Jeongguk's eyes and smiled, then walked with him along the flowerbed wall, step by step. A warm breeze blew through my hair.

"Miss, I will take care of you this time."

Jungkook hands Seokjin my hand, and I walk along the wall holding Seokjin's hand with a lighter heart than before.

``A beggar girl with no mom or dad.``

Bad memories flooded my mind. Back then, no one held my hand. But now, things are different.

"Miss. Hand!"

Jimin reached out his hand to me. My hand moved from Seokjin's to Jimin's. Jimin looked at me with affectionate eyes, his face brighter than anyone else's. I was no longer alone.

"I'll teach you math if you need it."

Namjoon, who had received my hand from Jimin, raised his head and met my eyes. I smiled faintly at him.

"Yeah. Even if I'm an idiot, you shouldn't scold me."
"You're scolding me, young lady. I'll explain it to you kindly until you understand."
"Thank you, Namjoon."

Namjoon smiled happily at my words.

"It's Ho-seok's turn."

Hoseok took my hand, winked at me, and smiled with his eyes. Hoseok's appearance made me burst out laughing. Hoseok watched me laugh, and a pleasant smile joined his.

"You look pretty when you smile, young lady."
"really?"
"Yes, really!"
"Miss, I've been waiting for a very long time."

As I reached Taehyung, joking with Hoseok, he made a tearful face, as if he was having a hard time, but then smiled brightly and held out his hand to me. I held Taehyung's hand and walked along the flowerbed wall, and before I knew it, Jungkook, Seokjin, Namjoon, Jimin, and Hoseok were following behind me.

"Do you like model students?"
"Model student? Why?"

When I ask Taehyung a question while looking at him with curious eyes, Taehyung slightly avoids my gaze.

“I wonder if you just don’t like being too picky and stuff.”

Maybe he's holding it in. He said I was a bad guy. I stopped walking and crouched against the wall to look at Taehyung. He looked at me with trembling eyes.

"I like Taehyung just the way he is."

Taehyung's face instantly turned red. He sighed deeply, lowered his head, and continued walking forward, taking my hand.

"Miss. What are you doing there, so dangerous?"

Yunki walks down the edge of the flower garden wall and shouts at me.

“Taehyung, let’s go!”

Taehyung nodded. Taehyung and I walked quickly towards Yoongi, hand in hand. Yoongi, who was watching me with a chocolate milk in his hand, tossed the chocolate milk to Jungkook, who was walking ahead, and Jungkook stylishly caught it with one hand. I reached Yoongi, holding Taehyung's hand, and crouched down to watch Yoongi, who was standing at the stand. Yoongi lifted me up with both hands and placed me down in front of him. I looked up at Yoongi naturally, and he smiled brightly at me.

"Thank you for coming, miss."

Yoongi's words left me momentarily dazed. The child who had sat alone on the flowerbed wall that day was no longer there.

``You should go home now, Miss.``

You are not alone.

The young heroine, sitting alone on the flowerbed wall, raised her head at the sound of someone's voice and saw seven butlers before her. The butlers reached out to the young heroine.

``Thank you for coming, miss.``
