CHAPTER 16 - HOLD ME TIGHT

Chaeyoung's P.O.V:

I didn't want to live anymore. Then I could go back to James. I just want to forget everything.... EVERYTHING.....

I feel someone's warm and soft hand hold mine and I don't know how I know but I can tell that it is Jin. Why is here?

"Chaeyoung....." he whispers "Please come back...please....I am so sorry for everything I said and did to you....please come back...for me.....please.....I don't think I'll be able to live with myself if you go away...." The last part is barley a whisper and I feel a tear- HIS tear- drop on my arm.

I....he... what..?

Why is he saying all this to me....? Did he somehow find out....?

Suddenly, I feel like wanting to see him. Talk to him. Listen to his silly dad jokes. Hear his contagious and sweet windshield wiper laugh....

I just want to BE with him....

But why are these feelings rushing around me all of a sudden....?

He lets go of my hand. No...don't go.... don't leave me...hold me tight....

Suddenly everything stops. Even my breathing.

I fight it. I fight for air. Fight so that I can see Jin.

I gasp and my eyes fly open.

I gasp as my eyes fly open. I am met by blinding white lights.

"Chaeyoung?!" gasps a voice which I can't recognise but it sounds familiar. Can it be....

"Chae?!" This time I recognize the owner of the voice. Yeonjun.

I blink my eyes twice and everything comes into focus.

A handsome, black haired guy of my age is staring at me with tears in his eyes. He looks familiar....

"Chae, you're awake!" exclaims Yeonjun's voice from my right as he hugs me.

"Ouch- Hey Junnie!" I giggle weakly.

He smiles at me then releases at me. Then suddenly the black haired guy also hugs me.

"Chaeyoungggg!!! I am so happy you're okay! And also...I am really, sincerely sorry for EVERYTHING..." he says.

I blink as he releases me. "Uh...no offense but....who, exactly are you? And why are you apologizing to me? And...why are you here? Are you a friend of Yeonjun...?" I ask him.

My words seem to take both of them by shock. Especially to the handsome guy. Wait, why am I calling him handsome...? Huh...?

"Ch-chaeyoung....please say that you're pranking me. You're pranking me, right?" He whispers as his tears start to fall.

"No...I am not pranking you....I don't even KNOW you.....how do you know my name? Are you a stalker?!" I ask him.

"Chaeyoung....don't you remember...? It's Jin...." Yeonjun whispers to me.

"Umm...who? I don't know anyone named Jin," I say confused.

The guy, who I assume is Jin, backs away. "Y-you really d-don't remember....?" He whispers and I shake my head.

"Look I'm sorry....but I honestly don't know you and I've never seen you before," I say to him.

He covers his face with his hands and runs out, crying.

Weird....

Who really is he? And....why did is presence feel familiar....?

Jin's P.O.V:

'Look I'm sorry....but I honestly don't know you and I've never seen you before'

I never thought those words could hurt someone so much.

It hurts, Chaeyoung.....it hurts alot!

How can you forget me?

But....why does it hurt me so much...?

I think.....

I think I'm in love with Jeon Chaeyoung....
