I miss you.

I miss you.

"Hey, lady?"

The days of laughing and chatting, saying it was nice to just see each other's faces, weren't over. It was just that some personal issues were a bit more serious.

"..Ugh-"

When we were together, I was too busy staring at your face to even notice your phone screen. After thinking about it for a few days, I came to this conclusion:

"Let's break up."

It was a breakup.

Two years later, I was approaching my senior year, preparing for my final year of the CD department. I only occasionally ran into him, but I pretended not to know him and just passed him by.

"Kang Yeo-ju, I saw Woong-hyung yesterday."

"…whatever."

"I thought you were on vacation, but it'll be around the next week."

Bang-

The occasional news I heard about you was incredibly stressful for me as I prepared for my military service, and the news that you were approaching was especially toxic.

"Hey, where are you-"

"I'm going out for a drink. Why?"

"Let's go together. Don't get drunk and act like troublemakers."
.

.
.
.
There were five green bottles on the table, and two brown ones. Yeoju and Woojin went together, but Yeoju drank most of the alcohol alone. She drank quickly, but judging by the amount she consumed, she was more than drunk enough to last.

"Woojina... What will happen to me when Woong is discharged from the military?"

"I knew this would happen..."

"Woongie... I missed you so much, but I held back! I was the one who broke up with you first, so- I'm so sorry- I can't even... sigh."

“You know I’m sorry and you’re quick-witted, but why don’t you know that I like you?”

Woojin got up to go to the convenience store to buy the drunken Yeoju some chocolate milk. Immediately after, a man wearing a hat came in and sat down in front of her. The man in the hat simply stared at the dozing Yeoju without saying a word.

"Oww... I'll see you later-"

"...Me too. I missed you, Kang Yeo-ju."
