The first shoot with Jungkook involved a tour of his newlywed home. Even though we were there together, it was hard to believe. Even though it was virtual, it was the very idea of living in a newlywed home with Jungkook.
"Excuse me, Mr. Ham, shall we take a closer look at our new home?"
"great!"
"Oh, and let's talk comfortably now. We're the same age."
Actually, it wasn't our first time meeting, but I didn't know how to start talking because I was so nervous about the filming staff's stares, but Jungkook naturally made the atmosphere comfortable. He really is someone's boyfriend, there's nothing he can't do.
"Okay. Let's do that."
"I'll call you Ham. What about you?"
"I'm a coo."
"I like Jeongguk too."
Jungkook must have secretly hoped for his name to be called. Well, whatever sounded good to Jungkook was good to me, too.
"Okay. I'll call you Jeongguk. Okay."
"Then do it."
"what?"
"It's Jeongguk."
Jungkook walked closer to me and met my eyes. The moment I felt his gaze, my breath caught in my throat.
"Me... later."
My face flushed red at Jungkook's actions. I felt like I couldn't look at him anymore. I didn't want to get caught. I felt like I was the only one getting excited, and I felt defeated.
"Let's go together, Ham."
As we entered the newlywed home, the interior, decorated more cutely than the exterior, caught our attention.
"Wow. It's so pretty."
"That's right."
Jungkook looks around the house carefully, then stands there for a while with his eyes on the kitchen.
"What are you looking at so intently?"
"Because I like it."
"what?"
"I imagined ham cooking over there. But just imagining it is so good."
If Jungkook likes it that much, I'm ready to go to a full-course cooking school. Jungkook fantasizes about married life just like I do. Even when we're close, Jungkook seems like a fairy, so I figured he'd be different from me.
"Let's go upstairs too."
Jungkook, looking excited, took my hand and led me upstairs. I was equally excited. There was a bedroom upstairs. The moment I saw the double bed, silence flowed between Jungkook and me. Even our passing glances made me tremble, so I sat down on the bed, unable to bear to look at him.
"The bed is pretty, isn't it?"
"Yeah, right. Haha."
Jungkook was acting even more awkward than before. He must be embarrassed, too. Just looking at the bed makes his wicked imagination run wild. Come on, Ham. This is just fiction.
"It should be soft."
Jeongguk climbed onto the bed and lay down.
"Phew... it's nice if it's fluffy."
"It's soft."
Jeongguk spread his arms and tapped the bed with his other hand.
"Ham, come here and lie down."
"Is this the first time we've met today?"
"If you like it, that's fine. How about just lying down?"
Or were you thinking of something sneaky? Jungkook's provocative comment made my face burn, almost exploding. I tried to run away, but Jungkook grabbed my wrist.
"Where are you running away to!"
I lowered my head, unable to look at Jeongguk directly. I heard Jeongguk's soft voice in my ear.
"Ham, lift your head."
"I'm embarrassed."
"Still pretty, even if she's shy, she's still cute in my eyes."
Jungkook cupped my cheeks with both hands and forced me to face him. "Why are you so sweet? I can't hide it like this. My love for Jungkook is overflowing like this."
"Cut!"
I felt like I woke up from a dream at the director's autograph.
"You're such good at acting. If someone saw you, they'd think you two were really dating."
The director may have meant it as a compliment, but I was nervous that my relationship with Jeong-guk would be discovered.
"I wish that were the case."
I thought I was hallucinating. It was obviously dangerous for an idol to say such things. I pinched my cheek, but it wasn't a dream. Jungkook and the director were still standing before my eyes.
"That Ham is my ideal type."
There's one thing that hasn't changed since his debut: Jeon Jungkook is so fatal to me.
