I'm at Jeon Jungkook's home.

Season 3 Episode 7

[7]

It was Jungkook who held my hand. Yoongi was quietly watching Jungkook's hand as it held mine.

"Ham. That kind of thing."

"..."

"I have that too."

That wouldn't be a burden to me. It's only natural to be jealous. Jungkook hugged me and buried his face in my shoulder. His warmth spread through me.

"Jungkook."

"I'm jealous too."

"..."

"If you laugh at other men."

Should I show you how petty I am? Jungkook held my hand tightly and faced me.

"It's great that you're a singer and on stage, but don't you hate it when male fans in the audience scream at you for being nice? I know you're just seniors and juniors. I know you're just kind of close. When pictures of you and other seniors come up, I get so jealous that I'm going crazy. I want to be there. I'd rather be selfish and think that it was better when you were a homebody. At least back then, you only looked at me."

"Jungkook."

"I'm so selfish, Ham. If you're a burden, then I'm just hanging on to you."

Jungkook was staring at me with eyes that sparkled as if they were about to burst into tears. I didn't even realize it. I was jealous just watching him chat with another female junior. I was complaining to myself, saying my feelings had cooled because he was far away. I thought I was the only one having a hard time.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook."

"Don't say you're sorry. That's what I'm most afraid of now. I think Ham-i will ask to break up again."

"Are we dating again?"

"I told you, I can't live without you. I even thought about clinging to you like a real punk."

No, Jungkook. No matter what you do, I'll never look down on you. To me, Jungkook is the coolest and brightest person. Whether you were a homeboy or a singer now, that hasn't changed.

"You were so annoying. You completely misunderstood and got angry, and then ignored me."

Perhaps Jungkook had ignored Yoongi while they were in the waiting room. Yoongi was looking at Jungkook with a look of disappointment on his face.

"That's because I thought Ham-i had feelings for hyung. Honestly, I think hyung is cool and mature."

"You know that now? In that sense, Ham-i really has no discerning eye."

"You love a pathetic Jeon Jungkook when you have a good guy like me?" Yoongi said, half-joking and half-serious, and Jungkook finally smiled.

"Hami has eyes to see. Hammi will be mine forever, so don't be greedy anymore. I'm anxious."

"You should be anxious. Well, it's not over yet. Keep being anxious. I'll come and steal Ham whenever I get the chance. You know? I don't give up easily."

"Goosebumps. Ham. Don't ever be alone with Yoongi-hyung again. It's dangerous."

Jeongguk had regained his composure and stood in front of me to block my view so that Yoongi wouldn't see me.

"I'll be careful."

"Wow. I was just being careful. This is so disappointing."

Yoongi sends me a sad look, but I can't help it. I don't want to make Jeongguk anxious. After all, I'm Jeon Jeongguk.

After my relationship with Jungkook improved, we kept in touch whenever we had the chance, just like when we first met. Whether it was near or far, I wanted to spend time with him without regrets.

"Ham. I miss you again. What should I do? Should I run to you? -Kuku."

"Can you come running? I'm in Japan. - Ham."

"I can swim. Uh-huh! Uh-huh! I'll run wherever Ham-i is!" -Kuku

When I talk to Jungkook, I find myself smiling without realizing it.

"Ah, you're really cute. Jeon Jungkook."

While I was having a sweet relationship with Jungkook, my manager came running to me as soon as he finished talking on the phone.

"Ham, this is great news."

"Huh? What's the news?"

"You've been cast in 'We Got Married'. If you do this well, your popularity will rise even higher than it is now."

"Are we married? If we're married, are we married?"

"Yeah. A virtual marriage program."

This might be good news for my manager, but it's not so good news for me. I knew that if I did this, Jungkook would be incredibly worried.

"Who is your opponent?"

"They say he's one of the BTS members. I don't know for sure yet."

"BTS?"

Does that mean I can live married life with Jungkook? I'm so excited.

"You can't refuse this. Since you're working as a celebrity, there will be times when you want to date. Think of it as dating and do it, Ham. Okay?"

"Oh, I see."

I pretended not to like it, but I was still looking forward to it. I desperately hoped my virtual marriage partner would be Jeongguk.

'Jungkook. I think I'm going to get married. -Ham.'

Judging by the lack of immediate reply, Jungkook must be busy with his schedule. Well, I'll check and see if he'll contact me. I absolutely want Jungkook to be my marriage partner. Then I could see him at least once a week. And I could hold his hand and hug him freely. With sweet thoughts in my mind, I fell into a brief, deep sleep.

While Ham-yi was sleeping, his phone screen lit up. A text message from Jeong-guk was displayed on Ham-yi's phone screen.

'Don't do it. -Kuku.'

'That's Yoon Ki-hyung! -Kuku.'

Ham couldn't bear to hear Jeongguk's urgent voice.
