Episode 4. The End of You and Me, Our Beginning

Tiring—

The bell rang. But it only rang once.

A familiar voice came over the phone, but it seemed like it could no longer be heard right in front of me.

-hello?

Oh, really. I'm going crazy just listening to his voice. Why is it that I even like his voice?

“You transferred schools, you moved. Why… why didn’t you tell me?”

"Calm down. Your voice is shaking so much. It's almost assembly time. How can you calm down and go in if you're crying? When you cry, you cry so hard."

"Are you really like that?! I, I... I didn't even know I liked you, and I only looked at your face until the very end, hurting you with words! How can you be so indifferent!!"

Ah… I’m so selfish too. When Park Jimin first confessed to me, I pushed him away, saying I didn’t like him, but when he found out how I felt, I confessed to you on my own and got mad at you.

But what can I do? You might not like me anymore. But one thing is certain.

Even if you start to hate me, I still like you and I will.

-…Hey, heroine. Actually, even what you said was a lie was a lie. I like you too. Will you keep in touch?

Tears flowed endlessly. Still, to answer your words, to give you an answer.

As if to represent my longing to see your face, which I miss more than anything today, perhaps because of the cold, or perhaps because of the weight of the phone, which feels particularly heavy today, I tremble. Only for you.

"…huh."

-Okay, go in quickly. The meeting starts in three minutes.

“…Then, if I get permission to start today.”

I heard laughter that seemed close by, even though it was far away.

And after a while,

-yes baby.

Our summer,It was the end of you and me and our beginning.

Yes, midsummer in July. It may have been just another day for others, but for us, it was more special than ever, and therefore precious.

Our story began to unfold, piece by piece, from this point on. Perhaps this story will never be completed;

— Complete

A very short piece, thank you for joining me.

For reference, the last punctuation mark (;) is called a semicolon and is used to break up a sentence and then continue the explanation.

As the author has many shortcomings, there may be some flaws in the writing and some parts that are a bit abrupt, but I am grateful to those who read it despite that.

The next episode is ‘Episode 5. To My Youth [Side Story/over]' I'll be back with another episode. I think the next one will be the last. Thank you again.
