The Choi siblings' attitude towards the New Year
Actually, I wasn't particularly excited about the New Year.
I just thought I was getting a year older, and that was it. But this year, for some reason, my parents insisted I see the New Year's sunrise, so here I am on January 1st.

The arrival of the new year always feels strange. Perhaps it's because I'm not yet ready to begin a new year. But time doesn't wait for us. That's why we must prepare for the bright year ahead.

"What were you thinking exactly one year ago?"
"You just don't want to be a high school sophomore?"

"Well, I wasn't ready to be eighteen. I guess I was still seventeen, but I couldn't deny that I was eighteen."

Our time is passing. One second, one minute, one hour, one day, one week, one month, one year. That's how time passes.
We can't stop time, so we grow older.
I'm eighteen now, but I'll get older as time goes on. Time doesn't come back, so I'll make the most of this moment.
If I do my best like that, won't I be able to see myself ready for the new year someday?

Originally, I was thinking of making it a 17-episode series, but somehow it ended up being 18 episodes, which coincidentally corresponds to the female lead's age.
I'd like to thank all the readers who have loved "Flying Nalrakaki" so far, and I'm so grateful for your continued support of my imperfect writing. This is my first work, and I think it's a work steeped in my anecdotes, experiences, and teenage years, which is why I'm especially attached to it. So, while it's sad to let it go, it's finally here.
