The day Taehyung spoke of breaking up was a day when sunlight and raindrops fell simultaneously, mercilessly, on the edge of his palm. The feeling of separation quickly seeped into the rain and enveloped Kim Yeoju's ankles. But as always, her clumsy mouth held a smile, like sunlight, unconcerned with the rain. Someone who lacks discernment is often called a fool. Kim Yeoju was what they call a fool. But the reason she was truly foolish was the conviction that had grown in Kim Taehyung's mind as he watched her. The conviction that Kim Yeoju would have no regrets. It was entirely her fault. Taehyung's rehearsal of her crying and glaring at him with resentment had turned into needless worry thanks to her foolishness. Now, Taehyung had no reason to look at her smile anymore. He turned away in an instant, leaving a large footprint on Kim Yeoju's heart, which had already become rusty from the rain. Did she suddenly come to her senses when she saw his shadow moving away from her? Only then did Kim Yeo-ju begin to shed tears. She sobbed, waving her arms in the empty space where he had disappeared. “Taehyung, Taehyung,” she called out in a voice more than half crying, but the lingering lingering regret only clung to her arm.
Kim Yeo-ju gently caressed the footprints engraved on her heart, worried they might disappear. It was terribly painful, but she wanted to cherish them, because they were Tae-hyung's traces. She tried to dismiss the rainwater pooling between the footprints as just another day, the day her beloved Tae-hyung had brushed past, and she overwrote the separation with lingering longing. Yes, perhaps that was what she meant. A small puddle had formed in Kim Yeo-ju's heart, within her tiny body.

Was she really a fool, or was she just pretending to be? Or was it just a reaction speed issue? Kim Yeo-ju looked as unfazed as the smile she'd flashed during their breakup. "Are you really okay?" Despite Jimin's constant questions from the side, she didn't show any signs of distress. She was just like usual, peaceful. She seemed quite happy, eating well with her friends and enjoying some alone time. But that was only when she didn't see Taehyung. The long vacation was over, and she'd entered the classroom, forgetting that she was supposed to be taking liberal arts classes with Taehyung. Taehyung appeared without warning, brushing past Kim Yeo-ju, and Jimin barely managed to catch her as she stumbled. Did that punk really go crazy? Jimin, who hadn't liked Kim Yeo-ju and Taehyung's behavior even when they were dating, frowned and spat out curses. "G, stop it, Park Jimin, stop it." Kim Yeo-ju stopped Jimin, who seemed to be losing his temper. Gradually, cracks were forming in her peace. If she ignores him, he's someone she doesn't know. Kim Yeo-ju tried to hold on, repeating the same incantation over and over again that wouldn't work. But the next day, and the day after that, Kim Yeo-ju once again poured her heart into Tae-hyung as she had on the countless days she loved him. And then one day. The moment she ran into Tae-hyung like any other day, the world felt like it was spinning. Her body trembled, and even holding herself up seemed like a burden. Before long, Kim Yeo-ju collapsed on the spot.
The puddle that had settled in her heart was now beginning to overflow out of her heart. It slowly swallowed up her shadow, which had collapsed in the middle of the road. The feeling of that day, the day they had parted, touched her skin, startling her and making her jump up from her seat. The rainwater had risen up to her ankles. She had clearly done a good job of trapping the rainwater that had accumulated in the crevices of her footprints that day, but Kim Yeo-ju muttered something strange, her expression clearly flustered. As the temperature of the rainwater touching her ankles grew accustomed, she suddenly realized that she had sloppily covered the crevices of her footprints in her head. With nothing more than a flimsy piece of board. Out of regret. Kim Yeo-ju probably didn't know that it would overflow, let alone trap it.
In fact, every time Taehyung encountered her, the puddle of fox rain rippled. And every time he smiled at someone other than Kim Yeo-ju and brushed past her, large tears flowed without restraint. With nowhere else to turn, the tears naturally found their way to the puddle, and it was no longer just a puddle. It swelled to the size of a lake, encroaching on her tiny heart and constantly expanding its size.

Jiing jiing. For the first time in days, Kim Yeo-joo's name appeared on Jimin's phone screen. Jimin, who had just gotten up, answered the call. "What are you doing in the corner of the house?" He hadn't even called. Feeling both disappointed and worried, Jimin asked. But the answer he heard was an unfamiliar male voice. "Are you Park Jimin?" Jimin had been speechless for a long time. Around 3:00 AM today, Kim Yeo-joo was found in the river after a local resident reported her, but unfortunately, she had already passed away. At the time, she had no other belongings besides her cell phone, so he tried to declare her unclaimed. Just in case, he checked her phone, and everything had been reset, leaving only Park Jimin's contact information. Listening to her story in a daze, Jimin felt like he was going crazy. The thought that she had left only my contact information, not his parents' or Taehyung's, hurt like crazy. Jimin shut his eyes tightly as Kim Yeo-joo's actions begged him to reveal something, as if demanding he understand. He wanted to reveal the truth about Kim Yeo-ju's death, which had suddenly been laid out before him. Has the culprit been caught? Jimin asked, suppressing his anger as best he could. The on-site investigation showed absolutely no signs of foul play. Isn't this usually a clear case of suicide? On the other end of the line, a man who appeared to be a police officer answered, seemingly annoyed. Jimin bit his lip so hard that drops of red blood leaked out. You didn't die alone. Someone must have done it to you. What kind of vile bastard did this to you?

In the puddle that overflowed my heart,
Now, the regret has become a lake
I wonder if it died from eating
with deep resentment
I wonder if someone killed him
Is it murder or suicide?
Maybe both
No one knows but
Anyway
Kim Yeo-ju was locked up and died.
