LOUDER THAN BOMBS! - JK / KTH

THREE

MY MI-SUK

After Taehyung introduced himself and smiled at me before sitting down, I couldn't help but blush. Thank goodness he sat down and didn't notice.

Break time arrived. I left hand in hand with Hwasa and Jin, heading to the cafeteria. When we arrived, we lined up to buy our lunch.

"Hey, have you seen Hobi?" I say as I start looking for him in the crowd.

"He shouldn't continue hanging out with Kook. Ever since they changed classrooms, he became best friends with him, and now he doesn't even listen to us," she laughed at Hwasa's words.

"You're right, flea, he doesn't listen to us anymore."

"I told you I don't like it when you call me flea," Hwasa says as she punches Jin in the chest.

- Hey, stop fighting, we're about to order - I signal to Jin to order his food.

Jin decides to order a portion of rice with some steamed vegetables, Hwasa and I order a portion and a half of rice, with jjim and jorim (meat and fish simmered over low heat). They go ahead, I stay behind looking for the money to pay.

"Damn, where are you?!" I think as I rummage through my things. "Oh, here you go," I give the cashier one last smile and leave with my tray to find my friends.

DAMN IT! I feel myself stumble, I see my tray wobble in my hands and my feet lose their senses... SHIT AND MORE SHIT!

Before I fall to the ground I feel hands holding my right arm, which manage to stop me before I hit the floor.

"Are you okay, little one?" Damn, I recognize that voice. I look up and there he is, Taehyung.

¿What's my name?

-Oh yes, thank you for saving me- She smiled, trying to hide all the sorrow she felt at that moment.

"Be more careful next time, although I don't mind coming to your rescue," he says with a square smile on his face, revealing excessively white teeth.

- Oh, sure, sorry, I'm usually absentminded in the mornings... -she smiled- Well, I'll leave you now, I'm going to meet up with my friends, we'll talk later, Tae - I said, heading towards my friends who were watching the scene with an expression that was too mocking for my liking.

-Yes, of course... -he pauses

"Mi-Suk, Min Mi-Suk," I replied immediately.

-Nice to meet you Mi-Suk

¿Why does my name sound so good coming from him?

I walk quickly to the table, where Hwasa and Jin are waiting for me, with a somewhat perverted smile.

"Oh my god, girl! You two were sparking!" she says in a high-pitched tone while waving her hands excitedly. "Don't you think so, Jin?"

"You're right, flea," Jin says, looking at me in a somewhat amused way.

I roll my eyes and just smile at his comments. To be honest, I like how we look too. I like him—NO, NO, I CAN'T LIKE HIM.

(...)

I spent the day as normal, enjoying Tae's presence several times; there's something about him that makes me want to see him all the time.

After classes end, I receive a call.

CALL

-Hi, Jiwoo. What's up? Are you coming for me?

-I'm sorry little sister, I'm with Doyun, I can't go, but take the bus, I'll see you at home.

"Okay, but if something happens to me, and I get killed, it's your responsibility," I say jokingly.

-Don't say things like that, see you later.
-Okay, take care- I hung up

END OF CALL

I go outside with Hwasa and Jin, and in the distance I see Hobi talking to Kook. I break free from Hwasa's grip and run towards Hobi, kicking him.

"Hey! Why didn't you show up at break? Of course, now that you've changed classrooms, you don't talk to us anymore," I say, pretending to be angry.

"Okay, don't be mad, little one," she says while rubbing her bottom, because of my hit.

"Short? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU! I'm 166 cm tall—I could kill you if I wanted to," he smiled proudly.

-Good little giraffe- he ruffles my hair in a peaceful manner.

-Oh hi Kook- I smiled as I gave him a small bow. I don't like this kind of thing, but I only do it with people I don't know, and I've barely seen Kook a couple of times.

-Hello, Mi-Suk- he returns the bow and smiles.

"Are you leaving already, little Suk?" Hobi says. I look at him and nod. "Will they come for you? Like always..."

"No, my sister's busy today with her idiot boyfriend." "It's no secret that I hate Doyun."

"I don't know why you hate him so much, Suk, he's a good person," I hear Jin say behind me.

-river- Good person, yes of course, I'd better go, I don't want to be at school anymore. See you guys tomorrow, I love you. Yes, Jungkook, I love you too -I smiled and turned around.

"Wait, Min!" I hear Hobi's voice.
"I turn around - Kookie, take the same bus you're going to take, why don't you go together?" - she says with her characteristic smile.

"Hobi! What are you doing?" I see Jungkook's eyes widen at that, and I can't help but laugh.

"Come on, let's go, or don't you want to come with me?" I feigned a pout.

"Sure, then let's go," Kook says, following. "See you guys."

Jungkook is the typical handsome guy, the kind who has all the girls at school at his feet. He's tall, has a tempting body, his muscles so defined, and those perfect legs that he shows off in those leather or denim pants that look damn good on him. And those full, pink lips—he's the perfect guy. But even so, we'd never exchanged a word until Hobi went to his class and they became friends. Since then, we're "like friends" because I've never seen him as anything different, and besides, I know he'll never see me as anything more than a friend.
