Love Letter 1937 (Republic of China Era)

Part Two: From South to North • Heading North

[In 1937, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Nankai University, three of China's top universities, faced the national crisis together amidst the flames of war against Japan, establishing the Changsha Temporary University, the predecessor of the Southwest Associated University, in Changsha, with November 1st as its anniversary. In 1938, they moved again to Kunming, merging to form the National Southwest Associated University, attracting a wealth of talent until its dissolution in 1946. The other universities then returned north.]photo
For eight years, I went from being a student at the First Normal School to becoming a teacher there. I waited for him to return. After the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan, I decided to go to Beiping (Beijing) to find him.photophoto
"Excuse me, does your school have a teacher named Wu?"
"Teacher Wu? Which Teacher Wu are you referring to?"
"I only know his nickname is Sehun."
"Do you know Sehun?" An elderly man dressed as a gentleman approached from the side.
"Ah, sir, I... was his student. May I ask where he is?"
He no longer teaches here.
"Where did he go? Didn't he come back to Beiping with you?"
"Shixun was also my student. This kid... sigh~ Back in Changsha, I asked him to move south with me. He insisted on going north and joined the revolutionary army..."photoI don't know what pictures to use 🙉 There might be some conflicts between the timeline and the real world. I wrote this without thinking.
