The sound of heels echoed through the quiet alley. Countless buildings looked as if they would collapse at any moment, and streetlights flickered as if they were about to go out. And thick, embroidered black hair swayed beautifully in the wind.

Visual sound effects that seem to come out of a horror movie, and the sight of Han In-young sitting on a chair in a building like that.

"You still have no sense, Choi Yeonjun."

"Sense? Is that something we need between us?"

At the sight of Wooyeon crossing her arms and making a face at the corners of her mouth in response to the words of the man named Yeonjun, Yeonjun stood up from her seat and grabbed Wooyeon by the neck.

"You know, I want to kill you like crazy."

Yeonjun's face instantly turned grim as Wooyeon snickered, as if he'd heard a joke. He felt like he could strangle the woman with those hands if he wasn't careful.

"What on earth are you thinking about, Choi Yeonjun? Then kill me. With your own hands."

As soon as Wooyeon finished speaking, he tightened his grip on Wooyeon's neck. Unfazed by Yeonjun's gaze, Wooyeon spoke, "Kill me quickly!" Her pale face flushed red, as if about to burst at any moment. Soon, she gasped in pain, her breathing becoming increasingly suffocating. Wooyeon never uttered a single plea for her life. She closed her eyes, her strength fading as if she were already dead. If anyone else had seen this, they would have seen nothing more than the corpse of a pitiful woman, already dead at the hands of that man. Yeonjun continued to watch Wooyeon. Wooyeon, far from making a desperate plea for help, took no action, seemingly waiting for death. Gradually, Yeonjun's grip loosened, and her eyes, which seemed as if they would never open, slowly opened. Wooyeon's lips curled into a smile as she looked into Yeonjun's eyes, then closed them tightly. Yeonjun finally released his grip on Wooyeon's neck and pulled away from her. Wooyeon, sliding down the wall, slowly opened her eyes. The words flowed out in a cracked voice as if grabbing Yeonjun, who was turning around to leave the building.

"Look... you can't kill me, Choi Yeonjun."

He seemed remarkably confident, considering he was speaking to the man who had tried to kill him just minutes ago. He must have been in a lot of pain, as he wiped away the tears that had flowed and stood up to leave. He looked at Yeonjun and opened his mouth. Yeonjun watched as Yeonjun chuckled and grabbed the doorknob as he left. He didn't grab him or snap at him. He simply watched him disappear, mulling over his words.

"If you want to kill me, you're welcome to do so. I'll die for you, no, hundreds of times, of all people."
