The twentieth story

“Good job, Jeongguk.”
Jimin offers Jungkook a cold drink. Jungkook refuses to accept it, glancing back and forth between Jimin and Taehyung. Only when Jimin asks why does he finally accept the drink, grinning. He then places an arm around each of Jimin's shoulders, pulling them closer to him.
“Hey guys, are you free today?”
“Uh. Why.”
“Please help me.”
“What.”
"Tomorrow is my mother's birthday. So, we're planning to throw a party at our house and give her a gift..."
“So you need a porter?”
“As expected, Taehyung knows my heart very well.”
“Oh my god…”
"Please, hyungs. Okay? Just this once..."
"Jungkook's asking us this, so how could we refuse? Right, Taehyung? And it's your mother's birthday, too. We have to help."
“Thank you so much, guys. I’ll buy you dinner later!!”
So Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook head to the department store. They're stocking up on ingredients for a meal for their mother, a coat and bag for her, and a bouquet of flowers. Even after picking out all the flowers, Jungkook lingers in the flower shop, unable to move. What kind of flower has captured his attention and kept him captive?
“That flower is a statice. Isn’t it so pretty, elegant, and beautiful?”
As Jungkook stares intently, the florist approaches and speaks. Jungkook fixates on the florist, and the florist asks, "Would you like a flower?" At the florist's question, Jungkook looks back at the statis. Strangely, he keeps seeing the statis and the meteor shower overlapping. Perhaps it's because they're so elegant and pretty, resembling meteor showers? Jungkook gazes at the statis and says, "Yes, just one flower."
“Here it is.”
“But what is the flower language of statis?”
"Eternal love. Isn't it so romantic? It's the perfect flower to give to your lover."
"lover……"
“Do you have a lover?”
Normally, he would have questioned the question, asking why it was so rude. But Jeongguk smiled as he recalled Yoo-seong at the florist's question. Just thinking about her made him happy. Jeongguk answered confidently.
“Yes, I have.”
“It would be perfect to give it to him as a gift.”
Jungkook receives the statis from the florist and mutters while smelling its scent.
“That’s right……”
At that time, Jimin and Taehyung, who were holding the ingredients for the food, urged Jungkook to hurry up and go, saying that it was heavy. Jungkook replied that he understood and went to them.
“What, why did you buy that one flower?”
“Oh, it’s just… because you look pretty…!”
Despite Jungkook's vague answers, Jimin didn't press further. He felt like Jungkook was hiding something, but he was too stressed right now to want to get home quickly. And most of all, he didn't seem to want to talk.

Taehyung says as he places the ingredients he bought earlier on the table. Jimin also struggles to place the ingredients on the table. Jungkook offers ice water to the struggling two hyungs. “You worked hard. Thank you so much, hyungs.” Taehyung sips the ice water absentmindedly. Jimin, on the other hand, smiles softly and accepts the ice water. “Don’t mention it. If you need help again, just let me know. I’ll help you. Of course, Taehyung too.” Taehyung sips the ice water, spits it out, and coughs. “Why are you putting me in there?” As Taehyung complains, Jimin chuckles mischievously. “You were going to help me anyway.” Jimin’s words seem to have hit the nail on the head, as Taehyung just grins and finishes sipping the ice water.
“Oh, do you want to go out for dinner tonight?”
“We’re good.”
Taehyung nods as if adding to Jimin's words.
“Then please wait a moment. I’ll make you some delicious fried rice!”
"Oh, Jungkook. Can I sleep over at your place today? I'm afraid the bus will be cancelled if I eat dinner before I go."
“Yes, please do.”
“Taehyung will sleep with you too.”
“It’s like a pajama party.”
Jungkook chuckles. Taehyung laughs next to him and answers. "That's right."
“Then shall we have a pajama party?”
Jungkook responds seriously to Jimin's playful remark.
“We have a lot of pajamas at home… what do we do?”
Jimin and Taehyung laugh at the same time because they find Jungkook's serious look cute.
"Okay. Oh, right. You know you have to tell scary stories at pajama parties, right? That's the fun of pajama parties."
Taehyung smiles and says at Jimin's words.
“But Jeongguk is so scared. What should I do?”
“Oh, I see. Jeongguk, if you’re too scared, can you hug me?”
Taehyung and Jimin laugh with mischievous faces. They work perfectly together when teasing Jungkook. Jungkook simply finds them utterly annoying.
“Oh, really. I’m going to prepare a really scary story, so get ready to make some scary videos.”
