After a pillow fight, everyone must have been exhausted, so they collapsed on the floor, panting heavily. "Ah, this is fun," Jimin said with a smile. Jungkook, who was lying next to him, also smiled and replied. "That's right. I hope we can play like this again next time." Then Taehyung, who was lying next to him, said, panting. "I'll prepare a scarier story next time. Look forward to it." At those words, Jungkook came to his senses and stood up and said, "That's okay? Next time, I'll tell you without the scary story."
“It was scary, after all.”
Taehyung got up and teased him. While Jungkook and Taehyung were bickering like that, Jimin looked out the window and said, “Look over there, there’s a shooting star.” Jungkook was the first to react to the word shooting star and turned his gaze to where Jimin was pointing. In the dark, pitch-black night sky, he saw several shooting stars shining and falling. Jungkook stopped bickering with Taehyung and looked at the shooting stars. In the past, he used to make a wish when he saw a shooting star, but after becoming a lover with Yoo Seong-i, he found himself lost in thought and staring at them. Jungkook didn’t know the reason himself.
Taehyung clasped his hands together next to him, closed his eyes, and made a wish. Please make me rich. Jimin, who was next to him, playfully tapped Taehyung and said, “You idiot, if you say it out loud like that, it won’t come true.” At those words, Taehyung opened his closed eyes and looked at Jimin and said, “I don’t believe in superstitions like that anyway. It’s ridiculous to say that a shooting star will grant wishes.” Taehyung’s words flew at Jungkook like a sharp dagger and pierced him. It was only natural, because Jungkook knew about Yooseong’s existence, that Yooseong really did grant wishes, and that Yooseong was even his lover… But Taehyung had no way of knowing Jungkook’s circumstances.
“Why are you saying that, hyung? A shooting star can really make your wish come true.”
"No matter how hard I pray, it won't come true. Then it won't come true. No one around me has ever made a wish on a shooting star and had it come true. Do you really believe in that superstition?"
“I believe it. And it’s not like it’s superstition.”
As a subtle tension flowed between them, and it seemed like they were about to fight, Jimin stepped in between Jungkook and Taehyung and said, "I think it's best to get some sleep now. I have to wake up early tomorrow and prepare for Jungkook's mother's birthday party." With those words, Jungkook went to prepare the blankets, and Taehyung cleaned up the messy room. They both seemed slightly offended. Still, Jimin intervened before it got too serious, so it seemed like they didn't hurt each other too much.
Taehyung was the first to speak, trying to break the awkward silence while lying down on the blanket that Jungkook had laid out for him.
“…I’m sorry. I spoke carelessly. Even if I didn’t believe the story about Yoo Seong, I shouldn’t have said that.”
"No. I'm the one who's being rude, bro. I'm sorry for being rude. Not everyone can believe what you say about Yoo Sung... I think I pushed my own opinions too far."
Jimin smiled happily as he saw the two quickly making up. Okay, let's hug to celebrate their reconciliation. Then Jungkook and Taehyung kicked away the blanket they were covering and jumped up. Hug? Do you want to die? Jungkook said as if adding to Taehyung's words. What kind of hug is this, really... Do you want to get hit with a pillow? Jimin laughed and said as he watched the two attacking him amicably. Just kidding, kidding~ Okay, let's hurry up and catch up~ Jimin blew out the candle that was still burning. As soon as the candle went out, it got dark and everything went black. Maybe it was because it was so dark, Jungkook and Taehyung ended up bumping their heads while trying to lie down.
“Oh! I’m sorry.”
“Ah… Oh, it’s okay. But you’re quite the idiot.”
“Brother? Do you want to die?”
“Oh my, I’m sleepy.”
At Jungkook's playful threat, Taehyung immediately lay down, saying he was sleepy. Jungkook was about to lie down when a sudden thought occurred to him, so he turned on the light for a moment and went to get something. Jimin asked him, "Why, are you going to sleep with a doll?" Jimin asked playfully, but Jungkook came back with a teddy bear and a statis flower. Jimin was a little surprised and found it cute to see Jungkook actually lying down with a doll. However, there was another reason why Jungkook was lying down with a doll and a flower.
