My dream equation is still incomplete
It wasn't all that surprising. He was skinny, and when we ran into each other occasionally, he had a round face with well-proportioned features. But he looked so cold that I thought he'd never have a girlfriend. But, as it turns out, all those people have girlfriends.
"What kind of person do you know? Why are you so surprised?"
“That lab, that lab that my senior recommended, that’s the lab manager.”
“No way. You must be a member of the *Ehwan Research Lab.”

“I guess he changed his major back to chemistry because of his girlfriend.”
After chatting endlessly with my senior, I left the cafe and headed to the lab. Looking at my watch, the clock was already ticking toward 8 o'clock. All around me, I could see my lab equipment still spinning, and the lab table scattered about.
I hadn't even figured out why I was doing this experiment, or what my purpose was, and I hadn't yet found my dream. Before I could even answer my own question, the end-of-reaction alarm sounded. Then the lab door opened and someone entered.
Squeak-
“Hey, lady, can you come here for a second? Where do you throw away all the experimental reactions?”
"I throw it away in the other waste. I make the silica particles myself, so I don't know what impurities might have formed."
“Can you tell me what kind of reaction substrate and solvent you use?”
“We use DIW, ethanol, ammonia water, and TEOS as a precursor.”
“Hey, would you like to sit down for a moment?”
Seokjin's expression showed that the real-time situation was worsening. In fact, when I first joined as an undergraduate researcher, Seokjin wasn't around. I heard he was in the Engineering Department, but I still don't know why he switched back to the Chemistry Department. When I first received my lab assignment, my supervisor was a foreign research assistant. After a brief explanation of the experimental method, theory, cleaning, and disposal procedures, I was already accustomed to conducting my own experiments.
"Why use ammonia water and ethanol? It should be disposed of as organic acid. Waste disposal is the most dangerous. What if you get hurt while experimenting alone late at night and on weekends?"
“Yes, I’m sorry. I’ll be more careful next time.”
The lab door opened again.
Squeak-
"Hey, let's go eat dinner! What's going on? The female lead is here too?"
The sight of the two of them from behind made my situation, which had been getting scolded until just now, extremely troublesome. It wasn't even a scolding. It was just a warning, and if you think about it positively, you'd be worried, but I got a warning once because it wasn't a situation that could be viewed positively.
"Well...anyway, just be careful about that. If you have any experiments to do over the weekend, contact me or your assistant. Work hard on your experiments."
With those words, they left the lab. The two smiled and looked at each other, chatting about what to have for dinner and what to watch before disappearing from my sight. Seeing that kind of love, I sometimes wonder what kind of love I've had, and a part of me feels envious.
“See.. I guess you came in because you wanted to be in the same group as your girlfriend.”
“Let’s finish this experiment quickly and go home and have some beer.”

Suzy's expression was smiling, but she looked at Seokjin as if something was bothering her. Seokjin grumbled and asked Suzy what the problem was.
"I'm the lab leader now. I don't want to disappoint the professor... I'm doing this to prevent any accidents."
